Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

Gods of chaos and destruction range from deities such as Beshaba, Garyx, Set, Talos, Tharizdun, and Zeus. Gods of chaos also can also embody renewal, such as Frigga and Lathander. The chaos domain is concerned with the forces that destroy and rebuild, chance and luck. Clerics that follow this path can typically range from those that seek to re-establish an order that they have disagreements with, or those who promote freedom. Clerics of the chaos domain are individualist who follows their own heart, seeking to return the injustices of the world as they once were by erasing it and allowing fate to take its course.

Bonus Proficiencies

1st-level Chaos Domain feature

You gain proficiency with martial weapons and heavy armor.

Chaos Priest

1st-level Chaos Domain feature

You have two chaos dice, which are d6s. A chaos die is expended when you use it. When a creature that you can see makes an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you can expend any number of your chaos dice to replace the die roll for that creature. If the result of your chaos die is an even number, treat the outcome as a failure. If the result is an odd number, treat the outcome as successful. If you rolled multiple chaos dice and two of the numbers are the same, you instead choose if the outcome is a success or failure. You regain all of your expended chaos dice when you finish a short or long rest.

You gain another chaos die at 6th, 8th, and 17th level.

Channel Divinity: Renewal of Fate

2nd-level Chaos Domain feature

You can use your Channel Divinity to invoke chaos and change a creatures fate.

As an action, you present your holy symbol, and each creature that you designate within 30-feet of you may re-roll a single die for an attack roll, damage roll, or ability check. This effect ends for a creature once they choose to use it, but fades after 1 minute.

Disorder

6th-level Chaos Domain feature

If you would have disadvantage on an attack roll, saving throw, or ability check, you may roll 3d20 instead and choose the middle number.

If you would roll more than one d20 for a single attack roll and the die result is the same number on at least two of the dice, your next damage roll or healing spell critically hits. Double the healing dice for healing spells. This effect applies to abilities that allow you to re-roll a die, such as the Lucky feat, and lasts until the end of your next turn.

Siege Strike

8th-level Chaos Domain feature

You gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with destructive energy. Once on each of your turns when you hit a object, structure, or creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 force damage to the target. Additionally, your weapon attacks deal double damage to objects, structures, and construct creatures.

Reign of Chaos

17th-level Chaos Domain feature

You've mastered the art of chaos to the point that you know how to twist it to your favor. If you would have advantage on an attack roll, saving throw, or ability check, you may roll 3d20 instead and choose the highest number.
