Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The path of the stratospheric strike claims some of the hardiet barbarians, who choose to weaponize their own forms to inflict massive damage on groups of enemies, and their surroundings to boot. Barbarians of this path are rarely trained in their craft, tending to unlock these abilities on accident when their temper runs particularly high.

Ballistic Slam

At 3rd level when you choose this path, you gain the ability to use your body’s momentum to cause great havoc. As a bonus action, you can slam the ground forcefully, forcing all creatures within 5 feet of you to make a strength saving throw or take 2d4 bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. A creature that saves takes half that damage and isn’t knocked prone. If you are raging, this attack deals an additional d4 of lightning damage. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all uses on a short or long rest.

Guarded Slam

At 6th level, after you use your slam attack, or your thundercrash at 10th level, you gain temp hp equal to the damage you dealt with that attack. These hit points expire at the end of your next turn.

Thundercrash

At 10th level,  you gain the ability to generate an even greater destructive force with your momentum. As an action, you can unleash this power in a Thundercrash. For this turn, you gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed. You can target 1 point within a 10ft radius cylinder, forcing every creature in a 20 foot radius circle to make a dexterity saving throw. This deals bludgeoning damage equal to 2d12+1d12 for every 15 feet you fell to your impact point. If you are raging, you deal an additional 2d4 lightning damage. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all uses when you take a long rest.

Soul of Thunder

At 14th level, you have mastered your abilities, now able to harness them for longer periods of time. You have a permanent flying speed equal to your walking speed, you are resistant to lightning damage, and when you rage, all of your attacks deal an additional d6 of lightning damage.
