Bard
Base Class: Bard

Some bards may find themselves the benefactor of otherworldly tutelage. Those who learn such songs in the secret places of the pagan gods can become as masters of sonnets, tales and ballads of ancient times. A bard trained by the spirits of the noble folk is a divine gift unlike any other. These poets, performers and musicians are learned in the ways of the pagan gods, with teachings from ancient tomes and texts that speak of the Aes'ahn.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of Filí at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Nature, Religion and Arcana.

Sonnets of the Otherworld

Also at 3rd level, you have learnt the tales of stories of the Otherworld through the ballads of Oghma, that arrive to you in dreams and visions. In telling stories of the old fey, they are imbued with wild magic until the end of their next rest, unless stated otherwise. When you play a song, roll a D6 on the Song of Rest: Wild Magic table. All creatures gain the benefits of the wild magic table result.

Song of Rest: Wild Magic
1d6 Wild Magic Effects
1 Dagda's Cauldron. You gain temporary hit points equal to half your level (rounded up).
2 Danu's Blessing. You gain the ability to communicate in a limited manner with beasts and plants. They can understand the meaning of your words, though you have no special ability to understand them in return.
3 The Bright Fire's Vigor. The next time you take fire damage, you have resistance.
4 The Son's Cloak of Mists. You may cast Misty Step once without expending a spell slot.
5 The Silver Hand. Your next weapon or spell attack is made with advantage.
6 Morrígan's Prophecy. You gain one inspiration die worth 1d4, to be used on any ability check, saving throw or attack roll made by you.

Ballad of the Evil Eye

At 6th level, your connections to the Feywild allow you to more effectively counteract charms and magic against your companions. You may use your Countercharm Feature as a bonus action. When you use the feature in this manner, the range increases to 60 feet.

Ballad of the Glam Dicin

Starting at 14th level, you learn the Ballad of the Glam Dicin, a satirical song that inflicts a curse of boils to appear upon a creature's face. When a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you makes an attack roll, you can use your reaction to expend one of your uses of Bardic Inspiration, rolling a Bardic Inspiration die and subtracting the number rolled from the creature's roll. You can choose to use this feature after the creature makes its roll, but before the DM determines whether the attack roll or ability check succeeds or fails, or before the creature deals its damage. If the result of the die causes the attack to miss, that creature must end its turn. If the die does not cause the attack to miss, you can subtract the roll from the damage dealt. The creature is immune if it can't hear you or if it's immune to being charmed.
