Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Now simply referred to as Ortha, it was once but a mere idea. A cult bent on the fantasy of a deity of endless potential and growth. One they hoped to call upon to be able to quite literally, crush their enemies under their heels. Many of the followers, small an diminutive in stature, looked towards this idea in desperation and hoped for an answer to their prayers. As this idea spread wide amongst those ridiculed by their short height, bullied because they weren't strong enough, or they're seen as the runt of the litter, a phenomena known as "Consonance" occurred: If enough sentient being believed in the same concept, even influencing other beings enough who don't initially believe in it, an impulse will be created and then thrusted into reality. And thus, a powerful white behemoth adorned in gold and chains was born, beginning a new chapter for the cult. They named this being Ortha, "Story". It was their protector, their source of life and power. So long as they believed in it, it had the strength to give back to the devoted.

Titan's Blessings

Through your pact you've made with your patron, you've been gifted a boon. And as you prove yourself as a devote follower, the stronger this boon becomes. At levels 1, 3, 6, 10, & 14, you gain a permanent 1.4 ft (1ft, 3in) in height. At 6th level, this additional height can be toggleable where you may revert back to your original height as a bonus action.

Additionally, as an action, you may use Ortha's Surge: increase your size as if Enlarge/Reduce was cast on you but only lasts three rounds. You may use this feature equal to one plus your Proficiency bonus. As long as you're in a state where your size category is larger than your normal, you may use your Charisma Modifier instead for Strength saves, to hit, and damage. Plus, your unarmed attacks are considered magical.

Growth Spurt

Pointing at a creature, you call upon your Patron and watch as their body begins to swell, waves of unnatural growth causes their skin and muscles to ripple before it concentrates on a single limb on their body, tripling it in size. They find themselves unable to move properly, their center of gravity completely off balance.

As an action, you may target a creature within 60 ft. of you and cause one of their limbs to suddenly grow. They must make a Wisdom Saving Throw or suffer one of their body parts to grow too large to move properly. Targeting certain body parts cause differing effects that last up to 1 minute. Affected creatures may re-roll to save at the end of their turn.

  • Head: They're unable to hold concentration spells, disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws and attacks that benefit from Dexterity.
  • Arm: They're unable to make attack of opportunities, disadvantage to attack rolls and Strength Checks.
  • Torso: Movement speed is reduced in half, disadvantage on Strength and Dexterity saving throws and disadvantage to grapple.
  • Leg: They're prone.

Additionally, you may use this feature as an attack by rapidly growing a body part mid-swing, tripling your melee range and adding an additional 2d6 damage to the attack. It then shrinks back to normal immediately. This attack gains an additional 2d6 damage every 4 Warlock Levels up to 8d6 at Level 18. You may use this feature equal to your Charisma Modifier and regain expended uses after a Long Rest.

Giant's Rest

As you hunker down and relax yourself, you find it quite easy to do so. It's almost unnatural how quickly you fall asleep but before you have time to think about it, it all turns black but you can feel the watchful gaze of your Patron protecting you. You're able to quickly fall asleep and gain the benefits of a Short Rest after 10 minutes of uninterrupted rest. While in this rest, you turn one category size larger and allies that rest on you also share the same benefits as you do and may use your proficiency bonus to the number of hit points they regain if they spend any Hit Dice.

Colossal Resilience

You can feel a surge of power flowing through you whenever you grow, strengthening your body even more than before and becoming even closer to your Patron.

Whenever you grow one size category larger, you gain the following benefits.

  • Your Armor Class increases by +2
  • Choose one damage type to be resistant against
  • Gain Temporary HP equal to your Warlock Level that disappears when you either take enough damage or shrink back down.
  • Advantage against one saving throw
