Base Class: Wizard
You study the art of potion brewing, rapidly brewing potions with extreme accuracy. The effects a potion can have range from healing lethal wounds, to turning invisible for a short while, to granting the drinker the ability to fly. Some brewers find employment in the military, others set up potion stores in major cities, and others still prefer to use their talents to aid an adventuring party. Which ever path a brewer goes down there is sure to be plenty of weird magical effects, studying and alchemy.
Witchcraft Savant
Beginning when you select this school at 2nd level, the time and component's necessary to brew a potion is halved.
Potion Expertise
Beginning at 2nd level, you gain expertise in the Herbalism Kit and Alchemist's Supplies.
Effective Extension
Starting at 6th level, you can use your action to expend one of your 2nd level spell slots and extend the duration of a potion's effects. You must be able to see the creature and it must still be under the effects of a potion you brewed for this duration to apply. The duration is increased by the formula (Base duration x INT modifier). Example, a potion has a duration of 1 hour, your INT modifier is +4, the extended total duration of the potion (this number includes the duration already used) to 4 hours.
Empowered Brewing
Beginning at 10th level, you can add your INT modifier to the effect of a potion, eg. if you used this effect on Potion of Flying, your fly speed would equal walking speed + INT modifier. Another example, if you used this effect on Potion of Healing, your INT modifier could be added to the amount healed. This modifier can be added to one value on a potion, excluding duration.
Potion Resistance
Starting at 14th level, when consuming a potion or oil which requires a saving throw, you can either add your INT modifier (regardless of whether it is an Intelligence saving throw or not, and if it is you can add it twice using this feature) or gain advantage on the saving throw. Similarly, if you take damage from the effect of a potion or oil it is treated as though you have resistance to the damage type, halving the damage (rounded down).
