Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

Those in the Ranger's Core dedicate their life to the continuous training and duties required of those who are tasked with protecting the safety of a kingdom. Often using extreme stealth, their mounts, and their proficiencies in a small list of weapons to their advantage. While engaged a Ranger of the Ranger's core will often fire volleys of arrows in quick succession before slipping in for easy kills with their knives.

A Ranger of the RC does not have much in the way of social skills, But excels at gathering much needed information and being in and out of missions without being seen. Training has made them proficient in longbows, swords, daggers, and short swords. Experience in the field often allows them to be a force much feared.

Ranger's Mark

You focus in on a target reading their every move. If they attempt to attack you, you may dodge the attack fully or just mitigate the damage, sometimes even issuing a counterattack as punishment.

If you speak a command to your mount when you are dismounted the mount may attempt to attack the target as well

Ranger's Core Training

Your completed extensive training and dedication in the Ranger's training core allows for a small list of advantages in the field. One of them is being extremely proficient in your preferred weapons and a bit more dextrous. You now know your weapons so well that you can draw a stowed weapon and attack in the same turn. Another advantage training has granted you is access to a mount that undergoes training almost as extensive as yours and can respond to a number or vocal or nonvocal commands. As you level up and gain experience with your companion you learn new tricks and commands for it to perform.

Mounting your creature costs 5 movement speed instead of 1/2 your movement speed.

You may only make a special attack as many times as your dexterity modifier (at least 1).

Your mount must be within it's movement speed of the target.

Unseen Movements

You've come to point in your advanced training that you and your mount have learned to move silently and without being seen through area's of even the lightest cover. You gain an expertise in stealth.
