Base Class: Sorcerer
Your magic draws from a lost arcane technology that draws upon the harmony of nature and civilization. Over time, your ancestors became capable of practicing this feat innately, as you are now.
Ancient Bloodline Quirks
Your elder bloodline manifests physically as well as in your magic. Roll or choose one or more features from the table below.

Arcanomechanical tattoos decorate your forearms. When hidden under your clothes, they constantly writhe with latent energy. |
|
2 |
You bear the serene visage of a corpse at rest. Something about your appearance or complexion suggests the specter of death. |
|
3 |
Whenever you cast spells, any light produced mimics the warm glow of sunset, the cool blue of twilight, or the soft shine of moonlight. |
|
4 |
Vines, leaves or flowers grow over your body when you sleep, encasing you in a kind of natural tomb each night. |

5 |
Some portion of your body is made up of a lifelike construct, similar to the makeup of a Warforged. |

6 |
The dark fall of your civilization remains with you. Horns, slitted yellow eyes, or goat’s hooves manifest on your body. |
Voice of the Gods
Starting at 1st level, you have telepathy with a range of 60 feet. You may speak to and understand any creature with an Intelligence of 7 or higher that you can see within range. Creatures of an Intelligence lower than 7 may communicate and receive only vague emotions or ideas.
Ancient Defenses
Starting at 1st level, the ancient blood within you seeks to protect you and defeat your foes.
Once per short rest, when you are reduced to 1/2 your hit point maximum, you may cast guiding bolt on the triggering attacker. You may cast this spell innately once per long rest.
Once per long rest, if you use two sorcery points to cast guiding bolt as part of this feature, you also gain the benefits of a 1st-level false life spell (1d4+4 temporary hit points for one hour). The temporary hit points granted by this feature increase to 1d4+9 at 5th level, 1d4+14 at 9th level, 1d4+19 at 13th level, and 1d4+24 at 17th level.
Specter of Ages Past
At 6th level, you gain the ability to don the vestments of your lost civilization. As a bonus action, you can spend 3 sorcery points to summon spectral armor, robes or other clothing to appear around you. The power of your lost people surrounds you, and you become a fearsome foe. You gain the following benefits.
- Your AC becomes 15 + your dexterity modifier for the duration.
- Enemies of your choice within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a fail, they take an extra 2d6 damage from your weapon attacks and spells. This bonus damage is the same type as whatever damage triggers it, and it may only be applied to a target once per turn.
This effect dissipates after 1 minute, if you drop to 0 hit points or if you die.
Bittersweet Recall
Starting at 14th level, you begin to weave your Voice of the Gods feature into your fighting style. Though your people may have fallen into hubris, corruption or outright evil ere their end, the destruction of your homeland still carries a great deal of complex emotions. As the ancient connection in you grows stronger, you are able to will those feelings into your magic. You twist the perspective of these emotions to inspire hope in your comrades and despair in your foes. You've certainly felt both at once.
- As a bonus action, you may telepathically share a short memory of hope with one ally within range of your Voice of the Gods feature. This ally has advantage on Wisdom saving throws for 10 minutes.
- As a reaction, you may telepathically share a short memory of despair with an enemy within range of your Voice of the Gods feature. On a failed Wisdom saving throw, the enemy wastes their action, but may take bonus actions and reactions, overwhelmed with sadness and fear.
You may use this feature an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus, which recharges every long rest.
Fallen Angel
Starting at 18th level, you can spend 6 sorcery points as a bonus action to magically transform yourself into an avatar of your fallen civilization's might. When you summon this form, you may spend the three sorcery points to activate your Specter of Ages Past feature as a free action.
You decide your appearance in this form—you may increase your size to Large for the duration if you wish, though this change is spectral. All Wisdom saves, against your spells and other subclass features, are made at disadvantage.
Additionally, in this form, you may reroll all damage die with a result of 1 or 2, and you must keep the new roll.
You remain in this form for 1 minute. It ends early if you are incapacitated, if you die, or if you dismiss it as a bonus action.
