Base Class: Warlock
The Highest Court is a collection of lawful neutral ascended beings that value fairness and rule of law above all else. They do not care for right or wrong, nor do they give preference to the affairs of morality. The High Court is a reclusive patron and is usually unknown to all but lawyers and arbiters who look to the Court for guidance and judgement. While the Highest Court does not usually create warlocks or clerics, they do occasionally need mortals to bring them new controversy and to enforce their judgements on chaos and its minions. While many patrons care little for their warlocks and clerics, The Court does occasionally interfere with their minions’ actions and choices. Those that ignore their patrons’ decrees often regret their choices….
Provoking Cross
At the first level when you chose the High Court Patron, you gain proficiency in persuasion and Investigation. Additionally, you learn the Vicious Mockery Cantrip. They count as warlock cantrips for you, but they don’t count against your number of cantrips known.
Flawless Deposition
At the 6 Level, you gain the spell Zone of Truth as a ritual without expending a spell slot. It is a warlock spell for you and does not count towards the number of spells known. The ritual takes 10 minutes to do and requires some writing utensil such as a pen, marker or chalk. The spell lasts for 2 hours when cast this way. Alternatively, you may inscribe the runes on a chair or bench to cause the spell to only effect the person sitting in it. When cast this way the spell lasts 48 hours.
Long Arm of the Law
At the 14 level you gain the ability to summon, as an action, the Marshal, the eternal servant of the court. The marshal appears in an empty space within 15 feet of you and rolls initiative. He will remain for 1 hour or until he is felled or dismissed. You may use this ability only once per long rest. Use the stats for a knight
