Base Class: Barbarian
Barbarians who walk the Path of the Draconic Warrior draw their power from an inner draconic spark. That spark fuels their rage, granting them abilities that resemble those of dragons.
Such a barbarian might have received a draconic gift firsthand, or have a revered ancestor who happened to be a dragon in disguise. You can choose your origin for your draconic might, or determine it randomly on the following table.
Draconic Origin
| d4 | Origin |
| 1 | One of your ancestors was a dragon, and their magic flows especially powerfully through your veins. |
| 2 | You once defended a group of dragon hatchlings. In gratitude, their parent gifted you with draconic might. |
| 3 | You revere a powerful draconic spirit, which fuels the ferocity of your rage in return. |
| 4 | You somehow acquired a weapon or relic from a dragon's hoard, and since that day you've gained an unexpected connection to draconic magic. |
Draconic Presence
At 3rd level, draconic power flows through your very being, amplifying your ferocity and force of personality. You gain the following benefits:
Draconic Intimidation. You gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill if you didn't already have it, and your proficiency bonus is doubled for checks that use that skill.
Forked Tongue. You learn to speak, read, and write Draconic.
Draconic Fury
Also at 3rd level, you can augment your weapon attacks with the ire of a dragon.
When you rage, choose from the following damage types: Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, or Poison. While you're raging, the first creature you hit on each of your turns with a weapon attack takes extra damage of the chosen type equal to your Barbarian level.
Aspect of the Drake
At 6th level, your draconic fury seems to have manifested in a number of ways.
While you rage, you gain resistance to the damage type you choose for your Draconic Fury feature.
You can also alter your form to gain unique physical characteristics that are more common to dragons. When you finish a short or long rest, choose one of the following aspects, which lasts until your next short or long rest.
Burrowing Aspect
You gain a burrowing speed equal to your walking speed.
Claw Aspect
Your unarmed strikes deal slashing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
Climber's Aspect
You gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed.
Swimmer's Aspect
You gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed.
Draconic Might
At 10th level, your rage manifests in even greater power and ferocity.
When you enter your rage, choose one of the following benefits, which lasts until your rage ends.
Draconic Breath
Once on each of your turns, when you take the Attack action, you can replace one of your attacks with an exhalation of draconic energy in a 20 ft. cone. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution Modifier), taking 3d8 damage of the type chosen for your Draconic Fury feature on a failed save, or half as much damage on a success.
Draconic Sight
You gain Blindsight out to 30 ft. Within this range, you can effectively see anything that isn't behind total cover, even if you're Blinded or in darkness. Moreover, you can see an Invisible creature, unless that creature successfully hides from you.
Frightful Presence
As a bonus action, each creature of your choice within 30 ft. of you that can see or hear you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or become Frightened of you for 1 minute. A creature frightened in this way can repeat its saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature succeeds on its saving throw, or the effect on that creature ends, that creature is immune to your Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.
Draconic Wings
At 14th level, your inner draconic spark overflows in the heat of battle, further transforming your appearance to that of a dragon's.
While you rage, a pair of spectral draconic wings sprout from your back, giving you a flying speed equal to your walking speed.
