Base Class: Barbarian
In the wilds of the world there be monsters. In the untold wastes and jungles, the writhing black sands of great desserts and icy tundra far reaching and endless there are monsters. Great and fierce monstrosities of nature and magic that seek wanton chaos and destruction. And what better to face the greatest of these monsters then an equal force of chaos and destruction?
Yours is the path of the Slayer.
The unbridled fury of the dauntless, the mightiest of all who would face down the monsters of the world without fear, nay, in fact you face down the nightmares of the world with unmatched vigor and joy. A maddening rage in the glory of the hunt. The Slayer is the path of that who knows no fear, who will wade forth, weapon drawn, cutting swathes through opponents that others would flee in terror from. Pushed on and egged by the audacity that such a monstrosity would dare to think itself your better. Chaos and bloodshed is the fury of the Slayer, you are a mesmerizing and unflinching tyrant in the face of foes so great they dwarf you in size.
The tribes of Barbarians that dot the far northern ice fields of Helfdome take heed when one of their own begins to show the sign of one who walks the path of the Slayer for they will undoubtedly bring either great glory or great woe in any path they walk.
Dauntless
Yours is a path to stare back when the darkness stares towards you. Yours is the way of the Dauntless, one who can feel no fear and charges into the fray weapon drawn. As the barbarian accepts the Path of the Slayer they grow truly dauntless towards the fears of the world. At 3rd level when you adopt this path you gain Immunity to being Frightened.
Slayer's Fury.
When you take on this Path at 3rd level you commit yourself to taking on enemies regardless of their mass with almost unimaginable vigor. Enemies larger then you cause you no hesitation, you are the fury and they will know your wrath. As a Slayer facing these enemies is the invigorating challenge that draws you to the hunt. You have a +2 AC, +2 Damage bonus against creatures that are at least one Size Category larger then you are. If a creature larger then you in melee reach attempts to leave your threat zone, you may take your reaction to perform a Slayer's Advance action. This allows you to use your reaction to move in pace with the retreating creature.; you may spend up to your total base movement following a creature with this reaction. On your next turn you reduce your base speed by the amount moved with this reaction. If a creature at least one size category larger then you attempts to use the Disengage action you can use your Reaction to make a melee attack of opportunity but can not follow them with Slayer's Advance.
On even Ground.
Beginning at 6th level the Path of the Slayer allows you to become the main source of pain for Creatures of at least 1 Size Category larger then you. While in your melee reach a creature of at least 1 Size Category larger then you grants advantage to all attacks made against it from your allies. You become so distracting to this creature that it is unable to focus on its defence, you force disadvantage on any saving throws the creature makes while you are adjacent to it.
Titan's Grasp.
Beginning at 10th level the size of your weapon causes you little discomfort. You become proficient with all weapons that you are already proficient at one Size Category Larger. Allowing you to wield weapons designed for a creature twice your size without penalty. While raging and wielding weapons designed for one size category larger you gain reach with all of your attacks. **
Oversized Weapons deal double dice in damage as discussed in the Dungeon Master's Guide pg. 278. (Ex. A Large sized Great Axe deals 2d12 instead of 1d12).
If you are a Small sized character this allows you to use Heavy Weapons without suffering disadvantage normal to your size category.
Unbridled Monster.
Beginning at 14th level, whenever you make a successful attack against a creature at least 1 Size Category larger then you it must succeed on a Wisdom Saving Throw or become frightened from you until the end of your next turn. The DC for this saving throw is equal to 8+your proficiency bonus+ your Strength Modifier. Also when you take damage from a creature of at least 1 size category larger then you that is within your melee reach you can use your reaction to deal your Strength Modifier to the creature as force damage.
