Base Class: Druid

Focusing the transmutative capabilities of your wild shape ability has allowed you to transform into an amalgamation of the creatures you've seen. Many druids see the use of this ability as profane, a perversion of the very nature that they have devoted their lives too, and draw their powers from. Those who choose this path however, are not limited by this foolish notion. Many believe that nature preserves the most powerful of its creatures, and thus pulling from those creatures strengths is the truest expression of nature.

Amalgam Shape

When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you can as an action expend a use of your wild shape feature in order to take on an amalgam transformation of beasts. When you transform in this way you must choose one option from each of the sections of your body, Head, Arms, Legs, and Torso lists below.

This new amalgam form is medium sized; however starting at 14th level you can choose wether the form is small, medium, or large.

You can adjust your character stats by selecting the appropriate state and imputing the appropriate value in the "override," portion.

Amalgam Form Head

Choose from the options below to apply the bonuses from your amalgam form to your character sheet.

Head of a Bear

A bears head sprouts forth from the torso of your amalgamation, and you gain the bears keen smell; as well as its sharp teeth.

You gain advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell. You also gain a Bite attack dealing 1d8 + your strength modifier in piercing damage.

Head of a Spider

Your jaw cracks and slits open, separating into mandibles; venom fills your cheeks, and you are ready for whatever awaits you.

You gain a bite attack dealing 1d8 + your dexterity modifier in piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 11 Constitution saving throw, taking 2d8 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. If the poison damage reduces a target to 0 hit points, the target is stabilized but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is paralyzed while poisoned in this way.

Head of a Wolf

Grey fur builds from the base of your neck as your amalgamation forms, you face contorts into that of a wolf. You gain its strong jaw to pull opponents to the ground with.

You gain a bite attack dealing 2d6 + your strength modifier in piercing damage. if the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Head of an Eagle

An eagle's head pulls away from your torso, and your vision widens, granting you an eagles eyes, and their sharp beak.

You gain advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight. You also gain a Beak attack dealing 1d6 + your strength modifier in piercing damage.

Head of an Octopus

Your head begins to bloat and you excrete a slimy mucus, the darkness turns into shades of grey.

You can breath underwater, and you gain darkvision out to a range of 60ft.

Amalgam Form Arms

Choose from the options below to apply the bonuses from your amalgam form to your character sheet.

Arms of a Bear

The muscles in your arm stretch and expand; you hair thickens to fur, and your nails harden into claws.

The Strength score of your amalgam form is 19, and you gain a claw attack dealing 2d6 + your Strength modifier in slashing damage.

Arms of a Spider

Your fingers extend and meld together, your arms grow thin and stretch forming into that of a spider arms.

The Strength score of your amalgam form is 14, and you gain a climb speed of 30ft., and while in contact with a web, you know the exact location of any other creature in contact with the same web.

Arms of an Octopus

The bones in your arms thin and melt away, as suction cups form; and your arms turn into that of an Octopus.

The Strength score of your amalgam form is 17, and you gain a tentacle attack dealing 2d6 + your strength modifier in bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it is grappled (escape DC 16). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and you can't use your tentacles on another target.

Amalgam Form Legs

Of a Spider

Your amalgam takes on a form similar to that of a drider. The Dexterity Score of your amalgam form is 16, and you have a movement speed of 30ft. You also gain blindsight out to a range of 10ft., additionally you ignore movement restrictions caused by webbing.

Of a Wolf

You legs transform into that of a wolf, either just the hind legs, or in a centaur like combination with the rest of your amalgam form. Your amalgam's dexterity score is 15, and you have a movement speed of 50ft. You also have advantage on all attack rolls against a creature if at least one of your allies are within 5ft., of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.

Of an Eagle

The Dexterity score of your amalgam form is 17, and you have a movement speed of 10ft. You also gain a Talon attack dealing 2d6 + your strength modifier in slashing damage.

Of an Octopus

Your amalgam's legs transform, splitting into large tentacles. The Dexterity score of your amalgam form is 13, and you have a movement speed of 10ft., and a swimming speed of 60ft. Additionally while underwater you have advantage on stealth checks.

Amalgam Form Torso

Choose from the options below to apply the bonuses from your amalgam form to your character sheet.

Of a Bear

Your body gains a thick hide and fur. The Constitution score of your amalgam form is 16, and the hit points and hit dice are as follows 34 (4d10 + 12). Additionally you AC = 13 + your dexterity modifier.

Of a Spider

Your torso tightens, and small thick fur grows outward. The Constitution score of your amalgam form is 12, and you gain a Web attack with a range of 30ft., and a long range of 60ft., on a hit the target is restrained by the webbing. As an action, the restrained target can make a DC Strength check, bursting the webbing on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed. The web has an AC of 10, 5 hit points, and has vulnerability to fire, but immunity to bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage. At the beginning of each turn after making this attack roll 1d6; this attack can not be used again until you roll a 5 or a 6. 

Of an Eagle

You gain the wings of an eagle, and your bones thin to allow for flight. The Constitution score of your amalgam form is 13, and the hit points and hit dice are as follows 26 (4d10 + 4). Additionally you gain a fly speed of 80 ft., this option can not be selected for your torso until you have a druid level of 8th or higher.

Of an Octopus

Your torso becomes malleable, and can twist or condense into blows. The Constitution score of your amalgam form is 13, and the hit points and hit dice are as follows 53 (8d10 + 8). Additionally as an action while underwater you can release a 20-foot-radius cloud of ink. The area is heavily obscured for 1 minute although a significant current can disperse the ink. After releasing the ink you can use the Dash action as a bonus action. This effect can be used once per transformation.

Circle Spells

At 3rd, 5th, and 7th level you gain access to the spells listed for that level in the Circle of Amalgamation Spells table. Once you gain access to one of these spells, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.

Mystic Strike

Starting at 6th level, while you are in an amalgam form your attacks count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks.

Ferocious Assault

Starting at 6th level, when you take the attack action while in your amalgam form, you can make one Claw, Talon, or Tentacle attack, and one Bite, or Beak attack.

Starting at 10th level, when you take the attack action while in your amalgam form, you can make two Claw, Talon, or Tentacle attacks, and one Bite, or Beak attack.

Partial Transformation

When you reach 10th level, you can as a bonus action transform a single section of your body choosing one option provided by your amalgam shape.

This partial transformation lasts for a number of hours equal to half your druid level (rounded down), or the remaining duration of your current transformation whichever is shorter.

This feature can be used a number of times per Long Rest equal to half your proficiency modifier (rounded down), but you can expend a use of your Wild Shape Feature in order to use this feature an additional time.

Adjustable Transformation

When you reach 14th level, Whenever you use your Amalgam Shape feature you can also choose wether your form is small, medium, or large size.

While small size; you have disadvantage on Strength checks and saving throws, but you have advantage on Dexterity checks and saving throws. Additionally attacks you make deal 1d4 less damage (this can not reduce the damage below 1), but you get a +2 bonus to your AC.

While medium size; your form is unchanged.

While Large size; you have advantage on Strength checks and saving throws, but you have disadvantage on Dexterity checks and saving throws. Additionally attacks you make deal 1d4 extra damage, but you take a -2 penalty to your AC.
