Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians are often belittled as unintelligent, brutish oafs, which many barbarians take offense to, but others know better. Some barbarians revel proudly in their strength and brawn over all other traits, knowing that they outclass any brainiac. Might makes right. You value physical prowess over all else, always pushing your body to its absolute limits. You are immensely proud of your sculpted form, but you feel no need to flaunt or stoke your ego. You are confident and humble enough to let the wizard insult you and simply laugh it off. You pity him, if anything.

Powerful Build

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

Might Beyond Expectations

At 3rd level, your dedication to strength above all allows you to exceed the expected usage of standard weaponry. You gain the following benefits:

  • You ignore the heavy property when wielding melee and ranged weapons.
  • When you make a ranged attack with a weapon with the thrown property, the weapon's long range is tripled.
  • When you make an attack with a weapon with the versatile property using one hand, you can use either of the weapon's damage dice.

Brawn Over Brains

Beginning at 6th level, when you fail an Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma saving throw, you can reroll the saving throw and use your Strength saving throw bonus for the roll instead.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Might Above and Beyond

Upon reaching 10th level, your immense brawn allows you to wield great weapons with ease. You gain the following benefits:

  • You ignore the two-handed property when wielding melee weapons.
  • When wielding a melee weapon that lacks the two-handed property, you may treat the weapon as if it had the light property.

Uncontainable

Starting at 14th level, your might cannot be contained. If you are grappled or restrained when you enter a rage, you forcefully break free of the constraints grappling or restraining you, as if you had succeeded on a grapple contest check or other Strength check, such as to break out of manacles. While you’re raging, you have advantage on any ability checks or saving throws to resist being grappled or restrained, and all creatures have disadvantage on any ability checks to grapple or restrain you.
