College of Business Bard

Bards in the College of Business are there to learn the skills of starting and running a business. They gain skills that help them sell, work with clients, and run their businesses better. Many of the members go on to run successful inns, shops, restaurants, etc.

Business Acumen

When you join the College of Business at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with three skills if you don't have them already: Deception, Insight, and Persuasion.

Self Preservation

Also at 3rd level, you learn how to protect yourself against dangerous rivals or other threats. If you are attacked by a creature that is within 60' of you, you may use your reaction to expend one of your bardic inspiration die as a buff. You can add the rolled value of the die to your AC. This can be added after you are attacked but before the damage of the attack is rolled. The added buff to your AC lasts until the beginning of your next turn.

Stealthy Spellcasting

Starting at 6th level, when you cast any of your bard spells of 1st level or higher, you can cast it without somatic or verbal components.

Sharpened Accuracy

Starting at 14th level, when you make an attack roll, you can expend one use of Bardic Inspiration. Roll a Bardic Inspiration die and add the number rolled to your attack roll. You can choose to do so after you roll the die for the attack roll, but before the DM tells you whether you succeed or fail. If the attack roll then hits the target, you can use your reaction to pass that same Bardic Inspiration die to the closest ally who could see the attack. If they already have a Bardic Inspiration die, the die is not passed to anyone.
