Base Class: Paladin
A powerful dragon chooses you as an avatar of their power. They offer the protection of the scale, might of the claw, and fury of the breath to shield and fight for those who can't.
Aspect of the Dragon
At level 3, your patron grants you their fury. Each day at dawn, you may choose a type of Dragon that you have seen before to gain abilities based on the species. You gain the eye color, skin coloration, and other vague physical features as well as a Breath Weapon associated with the species selected. Based on the species, you also gain resistance to the damage type associated with the breath weapon and it provides an addition to your AC equal to 1d4.
Might of the Dragon
Receive a weapon that embodies the dragon who chose you as it's avatar.
Scales of the Dragon
Receive a Shield from the entity to protect yourself and others.
Dragon Tongue
You learn to speak Draconic.
Greater Aspect
At level 7, your aspect of the dragon form shows more physical representations of the dragon you embody. Each creature you choose within 30ft must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be Frightened for 10 minutes. Targets may make saves each round to overcome the fear at the end of their turn.
Avatar of the Dragon
At level 20, you may take the form of an Adult Dragon associated with your current Aspect form. This effect last for 1 minute or until the Dragon form is reduced to 0 hit points. If the dragon form is reduced to 0 hit points, you return to your original form with whatever existing hit points you had prior to the alteration in form.
Superior Aspect
At level 15, your form is now slightly more permanent. Your horns remain, regardless of aspect chosen. The draconic eye form stays, the color changes as your aspect may change. Teeth or fangs persist regardless of form. You now have a natural claw weapon as you finger tips keep a dragon-like point.
