Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

There are few things more satisfying to a barbarian than standing toe to toe with an equal opponent and slugging them square across the chin. Whether it be through pit fighting experience or spending time as an enforcer for the local thieves guild, you prefer the more personal experience of using your hands to get things done rather than weapons.

This is a Primal Path option for the Barbarian class. For a long time I wanted to figure out a way to make a strength based Monk but I finally realized that with a unique primal path a Barbarian fits the bill excellently!

Knuckle Duster

At the 3rd level, you have developed a rough and tumble fighting style. Your unarmed strikes deal 1d6 bludgeoning damage and when you take the attack action you can use your bonus action to make one unarmed strike, grapple, or shove against a creature within your reach.

Additionally, when you successfully grapple or shove a creature, they take bludgeoning damage equal to your Strength modifier. Creatures you have grappled have disadvantage on attack rolls against creatures other than you.

Imposing Presence

At the 6th level, the physicality of your presence looms over conversations you hold. When you make a Charisma (Intimidation or Persuasion) check, you can add your Constitution to the result. Furthermore, you have advantage on any Insight checks to discern if another creature is lying or withholding information if you have successfully intimidated them within the last 24 hours.

Note: Original design was to replace CHA with CON for Intimidation and Persuasion checks... but I don't see a way to do that in the homebrew modifier options.

Out the Gate

Beginning at the 10th level, when you roll Initiative you can use your reaction to spur one of your allies to quick action., one creature of your choice who can see or hear you within 60 feet (including yourself) can add your proficiency modifier to their Initiative result.

Lockdown

At the 14th level, creatures who escape your grapple struggle to flee and have their speed reduced by half until the end of their next turn. Additionally, while raging, you can grapple and shove creatures up to two sizes larger than you.
