Base Class: Warlock
Your patron is the Rat King, the Seeker of Secrets, a being who embodies secrets. He is a mysterious entity that listens in on all the worlds’ secrets through the millions of sewer rats under his control. While it is difficult to do, one can summon him, in which case he takes the form of an amalgamation of hundreds of rats, with one taking the lead as the head.
He usually offers information in exchange for personal secrets, but you can also gain his favor in other ways. He especially has a soft spot for those who love knowledge as much as him, like bookworms and studious types.
When you form a pact with the Rat King, you promise to bring him information and secrets, and in exchange he grants you powerful abilities, favors, and the help of his lore scouts, rat minions who hunt knowledge.

Lore Scouts
Starting at 1st level, you learn the Conjure Animals spell. It counts as a warlock spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of spells you know. You can also cast it once without using a spell slot, and you regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest.
When you cast this spell it conjures fey creatures that take the form of a swarm of rats, who are minions of the Rat King, but obey your commands. If no command is issued the swarm will focus on protecting you. You can also command the swarm of rats to use its action to occupy your own space, causing all attacks against you to have disadvantage.
You have advantage on saving throws to maintain concentration on this spell, and if your concentration breaks the swarm’s only actions are to protect you
Patron's Knowledge
Also at 1st level, you gain proficiency in the History skill, and you learn two languages of your choice.
The King’s Favor
At 6th level the Rat King recognizes your thirst for knowledge, and offers you a favor in the form of one question. During a long rest you can take a moment to reach out to your patron. Ask one question, and your patron shall answer. The answer can be as short as a yes or a no, or as long as a paragraph, depending on the question. The Rat King is omniscient, it knows all.
Once you’ve used this feature you can’t use it again for seven days.
Additionally, you gain expertise in one of your skill proficiencies.
Seeker of Secrets
Beginning at 10th level, your patron has taught you how to read the secrets of your foes. When you make eye contact with a creature that is no farther than 10 feet from you, you can use your reaction to learn one of three things about them, choosing from these three options:
Strengths and weaknesses: Damage Vulnerabilities, Resistances, Immunities, and Condition Immunities.
Vitality: Hit Point maximum, current Hit Points, and Armor Class
Skills: Saving throw proficiencies, skill proficiencies, and languages.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier, you regain all uses when you finish a long rest.
Additionally, the swarm of rats conjured through your Lore Scouts feature can learn in a similar way. When the swarm hits a creature with an attack, choose one of the three options for them to learn. They will telepathically whisper the information to you at the start of your next turn.
If you are unconscious or incapacitated during your next turn the information will not reach you until you regain consciousness on a subsequent turn. If you do not regain consciousness before the swarm of rats disappears, the use of this feature is wasted.
Using this feature in this way costs one use of this feature, but does not cost a reaction.
Master of Secrets
At 14th level you’ve learned to put the knowledge the Rat King gives you to good use. When you use your Seeker of Secrets feature on a creature, you can choose to gain one of the following effects based on which information you learned: (it does not matter if the information was gained directly, or through the Lore Scouts)
Strengths and weaknesses: Your next attack against this creature ignores resistances and immunities.
Vitality: Your next attack against this creature is a critical hit on a 18, 19 or 20 on the d20.
Skills: Your next attack against this creature has advantage. Alternatively, if your next attack against this creature causes the target to make a saving throw, they have disadvantage.
You can use this feature three times per long rest.
