Base Class: Wizard
You have chosen to dedicate your life to discover the secrets behind the legendary power of dragons, learning about their relationship to The Weave, and wielding that power for yourself.
Dragon Expert
Your pursuit of the Draconic powers make them a target of interest to you. The best way to learn about Dragons is by meeting them, isn't it?
Upon taking this subclass you gain the Favored Enemy feat, and Dragons become your favored enemy. You also know the Draconic language
Elemental Savant
As a scholar of Dragon kind you are well practiced in resisting the elements much like how they are often immune to their respective attributes.
Upon taking this subclass you now always have the spell Absorb Elements prepared, without counting toward your number of prepared spells. This spell now has an additional affect: “If you cast a spell of the same damage type as the triggering affect before the end of your next turn, add 1d6 to the damage dealt"
Dragon Force
Having called upon the power of Dragons so frequently, the Weave begins to mistake you for a Dragon yourself and sometimes imbues you with a fraction of their power. Manifesting this ability temporarily surrounds you in the illusory image of a dragon
As an action, you may invoke the power of a dragon within yourself. For 10 minutes, you gain +2 to your AC after modifiers provided you aren’t wearing armor. While in this form, you may use a bonus action to deal the maximum possible damage on any spell you cast (uses equal to your proficiency modifier)
In addition, fiends, giants, and dragons all have Disadvantage on saving throws against your spells.
Dragon Shape
The Draconic nature of your magic has unlocked the natural limitations of your mortal body, and gives you the chance to break away from those limitations to come closer to attaining the power of a dragon.
Once per Long Rest, you may project a spectral image of a dragon around yourself for up to 10 minutes of concentration based on the form of any Dragon within your CR limit. You may only use it to assume the form of a Dragon whose CR is lower than or equal to half your Wizard level. The spectral dragon is considered a Wildshape for the purposes of determining physical abilities (such as attack actions, Armor Class, movement, etc.), but shares the castors skills, senses, proficiencies, and saving throws.
True Dragon Magic
You have uncovered the secrets of the relationship between Dragons and The Weave, and not only can you wield a piece of that bottomless power, but can also exploit that strength as a weakness.
After each Long Rest, choose one of the following damage types Fire, Cold, Lightning, Poison, and Acid. Until your next Long Rest, you are immune to all damage of the chosen damage type. If you are in Dragon Force, any damage dealt to you by the chosen damage type instead heals you 3d6 Hit Points. When this ability is triggered, you may choose to use a reaction to cast Absorb Elements to add 1d6 healing equal to the spell level used. The total damage healed may then be added to your next spell damage roll should it be of the same damage type before the end of your next turn.
If the chosen target of this spell is a Dragon, you may add the damage to a spell of any damage type, rather than your chosen immunity. The damage of this ability cannot be reduced as a result of a Dragon succeeding a saving throw.
If you used Dragon Shape to assume the form of a Wyvern, the benefits of your chosen immunity apply to you as though you were in Dragon Force. However, you do not gain the benefits of the additional damage
