Druid
Base Class: Druid

Druids of the Circle of Brimstone see nature from a different standpoint - they realize that even the lower planes, in which all life is bound to decay and burn, are an extension of nature. They attempt to mimic the forms of demons, devils, and all forms of fiendish existence.

Twisted Forms

Starting when you choose this Circle at 2nd level, the influence of the lower planes changes the forms you can take.

When you expend a use of your Wild Shape, you can choose to gain one of the following benefits. These benefits last until your Wild Shape ends, and have a visual impact on your form, even if they don't inherently change your body. For example, a deer with Devil's Sight might have coal-black eyes, while a monkey with Magic Resistance might have hellish runes carved into its skin.

Death Throes

When you drop to 0 hit points, or when your Wild Shape ends, each creature within 10 ft. of you must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failure, the target takes fire damage equal to 2d10 + your Druid Level, or half as much damage on a success.

Devil's Sight

You have Darkvision out to 120 ft., and magical darkness cannot impede your vision.

Hurl Flame

As an action, you can make a ranged spell attack against a creature within 150 ft. of you - on a hit, the target takes fire damage equal to 2d6 + your proficiency bonus.

Magic Resistance

You have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Maw

You grow a gaping maw on a part of your body. This maw is a natural weapon with which you are proficient, and deals piercing damage equal to 1d12 + your Strength modifier.

Combat Wild Shape

You gain the ability to use your Wild Shape on your turn as a Bonus Action, rather than as an Action.

While you are transformed by Wild Shape, you can use a bonus action to expend a spell slot to regain 1d8 hit points per level of the spell slot you expend.

Circle Forms

When you reach 6th level, you gain enough influence over your Wild Shape to assume the forms of fiends found within the Nine Hells and the Abyss. You don't need to have seen these forms, since such devils and demons come to you as intrusive thoughts daily. Your attacks in Beast or Fiend form count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Your Druid level determines the beasts you can transform into, as shown in the Circle of Brimstone Shapes table.

Circle of Brimstone Shapes

Druid Level Shapes
6th Dretch, Maw Demon, Nupperibo
8th Spined Devil
12th Bearded Devil, Bulezau, Rutterkin
16th Hell Hound, Merregon, Shadow Demon

Fiendish Forms

At 10th level, you learn to manipulate your form in more subtle ways.

As a bonus action on your turns, you can expend a spell slot of 1st level or higher to gain the benefits of one option of your choice from your Twisted Forms feature. This benefit lasts for 1 minute, or until you use this feature again.

Forbidden Form

At 14th level, you have manage to ingrain yourself with the essence of the lower planes.

You can choose to expend two uses of your Wild Shape feature at the same time to transform into any Fiend of your choice with a Challenge Rating as high as 10.

Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish 1d4 long rests.
