Base Class: Warlock
You have made a pact with a mysterious identity that makes its home between life and death, a dark force of the Ethereal Planethat gathers the souls of the dead to its own unknown purposes. Perhaps a near death experience drew you close to this entity, and you yourself are a soul it has captured. This Soul Collector now shares with you its power over the souls of the departed -- not only the power to commend these specters, but the capacity to twist them and mold them according to your will.
Expanded Spell List
The Spirit Wrangler lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Wrangle Spirit
Starting at 1st level, you can curse the soul of a beast, dragon, monstrosity, ooze, or plant you slay, or that you observe being slain within 30 feet of you, binding it in your service. Upon death, the creature makes a Wisdom Saving Throw against your spellcasting DC; on a failure, its soul is captured by you. This Wisdom Saving Throw cannot be made with advantage or disadvantage; factors that affected the creature's save in life do not apply to its soul after death. You may only capture the soul of a creature with a challenge rating equal or less than half of your player level, rounded down.
As a bonus action, you may summon this specter, which you then control. The specter has the same stats and actions as it did in life. Roll initiative for the specter, which has its own turns. The specter persists for a maximum of ten rounds per long rest, and persists until this time runs out, it is dismissed, or its hit points are brought to zero. If dismissed, the specter can be summoned again, using the remainder of its rounds.
Whenever you level up, you increase the maximum hit points of any captured specters by 1 hit die + the creature’s constitution modifier.
Upon being summoned again after a long rest, the specter also gains the benefits of a long rest.
Once you bind a specter to your service with this feature, you can't bind another until you finish a long rest. You may keep only one specter at a time; this increases to two specters at a time at level 6 and three at level 10. You may only summon one specter at a time; you must dismiss one if you wish to summon another.
Elemental Moves
At level 6 when you gain this feature, and on any subsequent level-up, you can apply one of the following templates to a specter that you have captured.
Fire Type
The specter gains resistance to fire damage; any attacks it has that deal piercing, bludgeoning, or slashing damage now deal fire damage.
Electric Type
The specter gains resistance to lightning damage; any attacks it has that deal piercing, bludgeoning, or slashing damage now deal lightning damage.
Ice Type
The specter gains resistance to cold damage; any attacks it has that deal piercing, bludgeoning, or slashing damage now deal cold damage.
Once a specter has received an elemental template, it cannot receive another.
Evolution
Starting at 10th level, while a specter you've bound is on the field, you may expend a spell slot as an action to empower the specter until it no longer persists on the field. Evolving a specter presents the following benefits:
-The specter’s size category increases by one.
-The specter’s attack rolls and saving throws are made with advantage
Elemental Moves II
At level 14 when you gain this feature, or on any subsequent level-up, you can apply one of the following templates to a specter that you have captured.
Psychic Type
The specter gains resistance to psychic damage, and immunity to the Charmed condition; any attacks it has that deal piercing, bludgeoning, or slashing damage now deal psychic damage.
Poison Type
The specter gains resistance to poison damage, and immunity to the poisoned condition; any attacks it has that deal piercing, bludgeoning, or slashing damage now deal poison damage.
Dark Type
