Bard
Base Class: Bard

Street artists see the world as their canvas, both metaphorically and quite literally. Often driven by political or social injustice, these mysterious painters and sculptors eschew traditional avenues for showing their art and instead install it, often illegally, on the streets and walls of whatever town they currently call home.

But for those who are savvy to such things, street artists send powerful messages. Their voices resonate amongst the members of their “tribe”, and while this often is some slice of the downtrodden, there are those with other agendas that find these methods indispensable.

Additional Proficiencies

At 3rd Level you gain proficiency with your choice of Sculptor’s Tools or Painter’s Tools. You may use these tools as a spell casting focus. You also gain proficiency in two of the following skills: Acrobatics, Deception, Intimidation, Persuasion, Sleight of Hand.

Graffiti

Beginning at 3rd level, you can create a work of graffiti by using painters tools as a standard action. When creating a work of street art, you can include a simple hidden message. This message in entirely hidden from anyone other than those you specify upon its creation and other beings with the Graffiti ability. In addition, anyone who can read the message can also use your Inspiration die on any roll, although it can only be used once per artwork.

In addition, you can discern messages in pieces of street art that you view. These works are present throughout the world, and can be discovered with a DC 10 Perception or Survival check (GM’s discretion), though what message they contain can rarely be predicted.

Cat Burglar

At 6th level, you gain advantage on stealth and deception rolls.

You also gain a secondary identity that you can don after 10 minutes. This disguise is fully effective against any kind of non-magical detection, though it may come with negative connotations related to your artistic crimes.

Spell Tagging

By 14th level, you've learned how to create a work of art that is laced with magical power. You may expend an inspiration die and spend a spell slot to attach a spell to any artwork you create. The spell can be of any level up to your proficiency bonus. The spell is triggered by touch, and affects either the being that touched it (in the case of spells that target an individual) or is centered on the artwork (in the case of area spells). The spell lasts for up to one month, after which it harmlessly dissipates.
