Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks that follow the Way of the Monkey King learn to inherit some of his power, such as creating clones of themselves, and summoning a nimbus. Monks who follow the Monkey king usually tend to more chaotic alignments, being highly mischievous and cheeky.

Follower of the Monkey King

Following this path you are a disciple of the Monkey King, monkey's and other monkey-like creatures have an instinctual understanding and deference towards you because of this. Monkey's and other like creatures are naturally friendly towards you and more willing to listen and follow your wishes. Also you are able to have some level of communication between them and you by exchanging simple thoughts, ideas, and desires back and forth.

Wukong's Staff

When you reach level 3 you gain greater skill and ability with staff weapons. You can perform a 1 hour ritual over a staff. Once you have done so this staff gains special properties and you gain special control over it.

  • The damage from using the staff will follow your martial arts table (doing a minimum of 1d6 damage)
  • You cannot be unwillingly disarmed while using your staff
  • As a bonus action you can control the size of your staff making it as small as a toothpick or as long as 15 ft. (You have disadvantage on attack rolls beyond 10 ft)
  • As a bonus action you can summon your staff to you at anytime so long as you are on the same plane of existence
  • The staff counts as a magical weapon when overcoming resistances to non magical damage.

You can only have one staff bonded this way, if you chose to perform the ritual over a new staff the old one ceases to be your bonded staff

Flying Nimbus

At 6th level you can, as an action, use 2 ki points to call a flying nimbus that you can ride on. The nimbus has a fly speed of 50 ft and lasts for 1 hour or until you dismiss it as a free action. You are able to mentally command nimbus even if you are not riding on it. The nimbus can carry up to 3 medium sized creature or one large creature. You can designate another creature to be able to control nimbus but it will ultimately obey your commands over any other directions it may receive. You can only summon one nimbus at a time. Once you reach level fifteen you can summon the nimbus for an indefinite amount of time without using any ki points.

Transform

At 11th level, as an action you can infuse your hair with ki to be ingested , by you or someone else, for a special effect. You can infuse 1 ki point to cast Alter Self or 2 ki points to cast polymorph. The hair remains infused until ingested or you finish a short rest. At level 14 you can cast Alter self on yourself at will but you still must provide ki to affect someone else. If you use this feature to polymorph yourself you maintain your own Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma stats. Additionally, any you retain any class feature provided that your polymorphed form is not incapable of performing the feats (i.e. you polymorph into a cat, you would keep unarmored defense and so forth).

Avatar of the Monkey King

At 17th level, as a bonus action you can use 7 ki points to transform into the monkey king's avatar. This last ten minuets, while in this form, you can do the following:
