Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

The sole duty of most paladins is to protect, be it the purity of their morals, a Deity, or a group of people, and to eliminate those that might oppose said ideals. This is also the case for those that take the Oath of the Harvester, but while others protect life at all costs, the Harvester knows that every life is cyclical, and while some have still long to live, for others, soon will come the moment of harvest.

 Tenets of the Harvest

A paladin sworn to the oath of the Harvest understands the cycle of life. It is to be born, grow old, and die. There are those that wish to disturb said cycle, and no later if they do it for their Gods, or for their own personal gain, it is the Harvester’s duty to maintain said balance.

Maintain the Crop.  Your life has no meaning if the crop goes to waste. A Harvester’s duty is to protect the natural order of growth for the crop, until their time of harvest naturally arrives. They can only “harvest” early, if it’s an act of mercy.

Remove the Weed. A weed harms the growth of the Crop and can cause their demise. The Harvester understands this, and shall mercilessly rip this pest from existence, and do it’s best to protect the crop.

Harvest. When a life has reached the point of harvest they naturally seek the harvester, even if they’re not aware of this. It is their job to end the crops journey thru the cycle of life. Anyone who causes harm to the crops, shall be harvested without mercy.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Soul of Harvest - As an action you can imbue yourself with the soul of a Harvester. For 1 minute, a dark cloak of shadows enshrouds you, obscuring your identity, your base movement speed increases 10ft, and you can add your charisma modifier to attack rolls(minimum bonus of +1). It surrounds you in dark mist for 10ft and dims light for 20 ft beyond that. You can end the effect as part of any other action, or if you fall unconscious.

Protect the crop. As an action, you present your holy symbol and speak a prayer protecting those around you, using your Channel Divinity. Choose an amount of creatures equivalent to your CHA modifier that you can see (a minimum of +1). Said creatures gain a total of temporary hit points equivalent to your paladin level multiplied by two.
