Base Class: Monk

The monks that practice this tradition focus on the manipulation of ki to manifestation their shade. The shade representation of the dark inside all living things they believe that to find true enlightenment. They must balance the light representing their body with the shade representing there shadow or inner darkness. This class will focus on summoning shades (shadows) of yourself onto the battlefield allowing for tactical decision making through the manipulation of your shades. this class will be a primary damage dealer and secondary stealth exploration.

SHADOW CONSUMPTION 3rd-level shade feature

As a reaction when a creature you can see dies within 30 feet of you, consume its shadow and regain up to 2 ki points. you cant exceed your maximum amount of ki points. To gain the benefit of this feature the creature must be considered a living creature therefore creatures such as undead and constructs would not gain the benefit of this feature.

SHROUDED STRIKES 3rd level shade feature

You can spend 1 ki point when hit a creature with a unarmed strike or a monk weapon to do additional psychic damage equal to 1 martial art die. 

you can only use this feature once on each of your turns 

MANEFEST SHADE 6th level shade feature

When using your shadow consumption feature you may now store the consumed shadow within your own. You may store a number of shadows equal to your proficiency modifier. as a bonus action you can spend 2 ki points and manifest a shade in a unoccupied space within 60 feet of you, for 1 minute. The shade will immediately take your flurry of blows action on the nearest enemy within range. On subsequent turns you can have your flurry of blows originate from your shade.   

when flurry of blows is made using this feature it always benefits from your shrouded strike feature 

Your shade is a black aethereal construct that is the same size as you . It can't be harmed in any way, it has no physical form and can be passed through, but no creature may end there turn occupying the same space as your shade. The shade shares your movement, you and the shade draw from your pool of movement if you have 30 movement, and the shade uses 10 you would have 20 left.

The shade is banished if it is more than 60 feet from you, the shade is banished if in direct sunlight or bright magical light 

You may dismiss your shade as a action

 

WE ARE LEGION 11th level shade feature

When you use your manifest shade feature, you may now manifest multiple shades at once. Additionally, while your shades are manifested you may consume them to gain the following effects  

when using your manifest shade feature, you may spend a additional 3 ki points to consume 1 of your shades and cast shadow blade at 2nd level. As a bonus action on subsequent turns, you may spend 3 ki points to consume a new shade to cast this spell again, for every additional 2 ki points you can up cast this spell by 1 level up to 5th level 

 

As a bonus action you can spend 1 ki point to consume 1 of your shades and teleport to the shade's location. You immediately take your flurry of blows on the nearest enemy within range.  When making your flurry of blows action in this way it always benefits from your shrouded strike feature. 

 

 

BORN TO DARKNESS 17th level shade feature

you and your shades give off a 5-foot aura of darkness 

your shades can no longer be banished by direct sunlight or bright magical light
