Base Class: Wizard
Both in peace and in war, communication is key. The ability to remain organized, especially at long distances, allows for coordination of movements, efficient resource expenditure, and deadly ambushes. Understanding this, wizards of the School of Telegrams devised a powerful network of magic to allow near-instant transmissions.
Networking
At 2nd level, you gain the ability to connect with other creatures at long distances. As a bonus action, you can link up to 6 willing creatures within 60 feet, including yourself, into a Network. While linked to your Network, linked creatures can telepathically communicate with each other freely in any combination. In addition, linked creatures are considered touching for the purpose of spells with a range of Touch.
A creature remains linked to your Network until it dies, falls unconscious, is more than 1 mile away from you, or leaves the Network as a bonus action. Your Network's connection ends on all creatures linked to it when you die, become incapacitated, fall unconscious, or create a new Network.
You can also remove any creatures from your Network as a bonus action.
Telegraphic Casting
Starting at 6th level, your Network's connection allows you to transmit magic from one member to the next. You can cast spells with a range other than self from the position of any creature within 60 feet linked to your Network.
Two-Way Transmissions
At 10th level, your Network's connection becomes stronger, allowing you to produce signals of greater complexity. Creatures linked to your Network can attempt to make attacks and cast spells from the position of any creature linked to your Network within 60 feet of them, using the target's reaction. If the sender can make more than one attack with the Attack action, the target can receive all of the sender's attacks with the same reaction.
Additionally, creatures linked to your Network can allow other linked creatures to perceive the world with their senses as an action. During this time, the perceiving creatures are deaf and blind with regard to their own senses. This action can be taken as part of the same action used to cast a spell or make an attack.
Finally, when a spell is cast on one of the members of your Network within 60 feet of you, you can choose to share its effects with yourself. If the spell requires concentration, the caster's concentration is used.
Broadcaster
At 14th level, you can further amplify your Network's connection. As an action, you can extend the benefits of any spell affecting you to any creature in your Network within 60 feet until the start of your next turn. At the end of this time, your Network's connection ends on all creatures, and each spell that you extended to your Network also ends.
Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.
