Knife Trick

3rd level Feature

 

You gain the ability to generate throwing knives of burning fire. The knives act exactly like darts, but deal fire damage instead of piercing. The knives disappear once they come into contact with something once thrown. The knives generate the same amount of light as a torch when held, and when you use your attacks to throw throwing weapons (including knife Trick knives), you can use a BA to make one additional thrown weapon attack with knife Trick. Any abilities that affect thrown or ranged weapons affect your knife Trick knives as well (such as fighting styles)

The Burning Edge

7th level Feature

 

Your knives burn so hot that you ignore creature's resistance to fire and treat immunity as resistance. Also, you can use your action to throw a knife Trick knife at any creature you can see within 30ft of you, making an attack roll for each creature hit. You can use this action a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per short rest.

Playing with Fire

10th level Feature

 

You gain resistance to fire damage. Your Knife Trick knives are improved dealing 2d4 instead of 1d4, and range increases to 30/70ft

Blade Barrage

15th level Feature

 

You leap into the air, raining overcharged knives down on those in front of you. As an action, you throw a large fan of knives in front of you in a 20ft cone. Creatures in the cone must make a dex save (DC=8+Prof+Dex) or take 4d12 fire damage and catch fire, taking 1d4 fire at the start of their turn until they use an action to put themselves out (or any other method to extinguish fire. Creatures take half damage and don't catch fire on a pass. You can use this feature Once per long rest. At 18th level, the cone size increases to 30ft and the afterburn damage increases to 2d4

Thousand Cuts

18th level Feature

 

Your knives burn with the very essence of your soul. Your knives improve, dealing 3d4 damage and range increasing to 40/80ft, and your blade barrage improves, increasing to a 30ft cone and the burning dealing 2d4 each turn.
