Base Class: Barbarian
Some barbarians disdain the hides and leather used as armor by most of their kin. Instead they master the heaviest of armors, even those created by more civilized people, to gain greater protection and stability in battle. They rush into battle with the ferocity of men and women who know they fall only when their armor does. They take blows that would make others buckle, and they withstand punishment that many fail to take.
Heavy Armor Proficiency
When you chose this path at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with heavy armor.
Armored Swiftness
Beginning at 3rd level when you chose this path, you gain the ability to move faster in medium and heavy armor. While wearing medium or heavy armor, your movement speed increases by 5 feet. This movement speed bonus increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 10 feet at 5th level, 15 feet at 10th level, 20 feet at 15th level, and 30 feet at 20th level.
In addition, you can take the Dash action as a bonus action while you are raging.
Indomitable Stance
Beginning at 6th level, you become an impenetrable wall of defense. Whenever you attempt to grapple a creature or resist a grapple while raging, you may add your proficiency bonus to the check. If your proficiency bonus is already added to the check, you may double the bonus. Additionally, whenever a creature attempts to escape your grapple, you gain advantage on the Strength (Athletics) check made to keep that creature in your grasp.
Resilience of Steel
At 10th level, you can use your armor to avoid deadly hits. When you are attacked by a creature you can see within 30 feet of you, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Guarded Life
Beginning at 14th level, if you are raging and you take damage, you can use your reaction to reduce that damage by 5d6 + your Strength modifier.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
