College of Cuisine

Bards of the College of Cuisine believe there is no greater expression of passion than a perfectly prepared meal for their loved ones and companions. Students of the College of Cuisine embody the idea of " You are what you eat." channeling their power and inspiration into various tasty creations for their companions, weather its granting strength through rugged proteins, energy through sweets, or just making sure everyone goes to bed with a full belly  bards of this college dedicate themselves to the art of cooking/ preparing foods.

A Chef's Best Friend

You gain Expertise with your choice of Daggers or Hand axes (cleavers)

additionally  you may attune with a specific Dagger or Hand axe  making this weapon your spell casting focus and granting it magical damage. 

Home Cooking/ Made with Love

Home Cooking: When you take this College at 3rd level you gain the ability to prepare a simple satisfying meal for yourself and your companions. During a short or long rest you may cast the spell Goodberry as a ritual, Provided you can source edible ingredients. you spend 10 minutes preparing some simple food for up to 10 creatures of your . \

Made with Love : you may also choose to expend a bardic inspiration die to flavor your Home cooking. This grants the consumer of the food the ability to add your bardic inspiration to an ability check based on the flavor you choose, this choice must be made at the time of preparation. you may not use song of rest while preparing this meal. you may only have 2 meals "made with love" at a time. once consumed the effects of the meal can only last for a maximum of 24hrs

additionally you gain the ability to store your "Home cooking" in a pocket dimension this may only be used for the storage of food you have personally prepared and can only hold up to 20 rations for a maximum of 3 days  

Practiced hand

you gain improved critical with your Chef's knives. when you reach 6th level you score a critical on 19 or 20 when striking with your Chef's Knife 

Iron stomach

Upon reaching level 14 you gain immunity  to Poison and Disease

Bonus Proficiencies

When you take this college at 3rd level you gain proficiency in Nature and Survival, as well as gaining proficiency with Chef's utensils 

Practiced Eye

At 6th level, you gain expertise in Nature and Survival.

you also gain resistance to Poison & Disease and have advantage on checks to detect poison. 

Peerless Chef

Starting at 14th level, when a creature consumes a meal you have prepared it may make a wisdom save against your spell DC on a failure the creature becomes charmed by you for up to 1hr. this effect ends if you or another member of your party damages the creature. at the end of the effects the creature may make another wisdom save, on a success the creature is aware you have charmed it and immediately becomes hostile, on a failure the creature is unaware you have charmed it and remains friendly toward you.
