Base Class: Fighter
Ancient legends tell of a great elven warrior queen named Tristheiralynn Amanodel, whose enchanting equipment and puissant poise captivated all those who saw her in battle. While her gear was overwhelmingly opulent, it was her distinct style that really set her apart from other fighters. Her loyal soldiers and even some of her surviving enemies began to emulate her elegant style, striving for beauty in life and battle, refining their forms of combat into an art. Those of later generations found her battle regalia itself to be cumbersome, but practitioners of the style- who eventually were known as Debutantes- are still found around the world today.
As a Debutante, your aesthetic aspirations are only towards battle: you seek out the most beautiful garments, keeping them and your armor pristine; you crave the finest culinary delicacies, the most moving music. While some Debutantes have fallen off the path into wanton hedonism, most strive towards gratitude, hoping to make life a joyful dance with beauty and grace.
Debutantes face fierce resistance from unseemly ugliness of the world, but malevolent and mundane. Still, they are unafraid lead the dance and bring beauty to everywhere it is needed.
Style
You have learned how to put beauty and grace into battle, making each fight a work of art with impeccable style. You gain proficiency with Persuasion and Performance, and you also gain a Style Point whenever you score a critical hit, land an attack with Advantage, succeed on a Charisma saving throw against a spell, make a successful Persuasion or Performance check, or an attack of opportunity against you misses. You can hold up to Proficiency total Style Points, which last until you take a short or long rest. You have a Style save DC for some features, which is 8+Charisma modifier+Style Points. Once a turn, you can expend a Style Point to do one of:
- Ravishing Run: Gain total Style Points x 5 movement speed until the end of your next turn.
- Debonair Dash: Take the Dash or Dodge actions as a bonus action.
- Vivacious Violence: As a bonus action, a creature in range of your weapon must make a Charisma save against your Style save DC, if they fail, they take damage of your weapon's type equal to your Style Points. This counts as a weapon attack, but not towards the number of attacks you can make a turn.
