Base Class: Barbarian
A tall human tribesman strafes through the snow, draped in furs and taking aim. He roars as he lets fly an arrow thicker than an elf's arm toward the head of the frost giant that dared approach his people's homes. An orc chieftain snarls at the latest young upstart challenging her authority of their savage tribe, knocking her bow as he charges with his axe from afar, ready to plunge wood and steel into his heart from afar, as she did to the last 6 challengers. Frothing at the mouth, a dwarf shouts curses as he rapidly sprays iron-forged death on wooden shafts into the face of his drow foe, then turns to loose a volley into the gut of another. These barbarians, different as they may be from others of their class, are still as defined by their rage as their deadly accuracy : unbridled, unquenchable, and unthinking fury.
Brawn Into Bows
Crafting as a Dread Sniper : To craft a great-bow, you need 30gp worth of raw materials and 10 days of work. Crafting arrows for a great-bow requires 1gp worth of raw materials to yield 20 arrows with a combined weight of 2 pounds, as they are heavier and larger than normal arrows. As part of a short-rest, you can craft up to 5 arrows. As part of a long-rest, you can craft up to 20. You must have enough wood on hand to produce them.
Additionally, when you make a weapon attack using a bow while raging, you gain a +2 to the damage roll. This bonus increases to +3 at 9th level, and +4 at 16th level.
Special : Due to it's size, a great-bow can be used only by a Medium or larger creature that has a Strength of 18 or higher. The bow shoots oversized arrows that deal piercing damage equal to 2D6 + the wielder's Strength modifier
Tunnel Vision
Beginning at 6th level, as long as you are raging, being within 5 feet of a hostile creature doesn't impose disadvantage on your ranged attack rolls. In addition, when you use the Reckless Attack class feature, you can apply the advantage to ranged attacks with bows.
Taunting Volley
Beginning at 10th level, you command attention with your dread arrows, the pain distracting opponents from your allies. When you hit a creature with a Reckless Attack using your bow, the target of your attacks must make a Wisdom saving throw, the DC of which is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier. On a failed save, the target has disadvantage on all attack rolls against targets other than you until the end of your next turn.
In addition, your Brutal Critical class feature applies to ranged attacks you make with bows. If you score a critical hit on a Taunting Volley, the target makes their Wisdom saving throw with disadvantage.
Press The Advantage
Beginning at 14th level, when you are raging, if a creature misses you with an attack roll, you may use your reaction to make one ranged weapon attack with your bow against that creature. A creature hit by this attack takes an additional 1D8 damage on a hit.
