Bard
Base Class: Bard

Lvl 3: Plot armor and secret plan

Lvl 6: Cut down on paper and Railroad

Lvl 14: Raillord and But a meme

Plot armor

When you are not wearing armor, you can add your CHAR modifier to AC.

Secret plan

You get a number of points equal to your level. They are called "Secret plan points". Once per turn, you can spend a number of secret plan points to use an ability or a spell of any playable class or subclass.

To use an ability of other class, you have to spend a number of secret plan points equal to the level, at which the ability is obtained. For spells, the number of required secret plan points is equal to double the minimal level + 2. However, you can also decide to cast the spell at a higher level, which increases the amount of required secret plan points by 2.

You regain half of the maximum of secret plan points after a long rest.

Cut down on paper

The book is switching its focus to more important stuff than eating and sleeping, which is why you now need neither. Instead of your long rests you now have to deliver monologues explaining your feelings.

Railroad

The Writer becomes too lazy to make every combat unique and just reuses battlescenes not concerning himself with realism. Once per 1d6 days upon an initiative roll you can spend all of your secret plan points to make all the creatures within 70 feet of you make an INT saving throw. Upon a failed save, a creature will take the same actions as in the previous fight. The initiative rolls become the same as in the last battle. The creature can adjust targets.

If a creature has no spell slots to cast spells it is obliged to, it casts the same spells from already expanded spell slots. Creatures can voluntarily fail the save.

Upon a successful save the creature is immune to this effect for 24 hours.

Raillord

These loops become very symbolic to your character and very appealing to the Writer. Your Railroad ability only costs 10 secret plan points and can be used every 1d3 days.

But a meme

Your deeds are truly legendary and The Writer has turned you into a meme, which boosts your survivability to a maximum. Whenever your HP reaches 0, you do not die. Instead, you make a performance check and heal yourself a number of HP equal to the result. Whenever you use this ability, all the friendly creatures get an extra bardic inspiration, which can stack on top of the already given one. This bardic inspiration can be used at the same time as a normal one.

You can use this ability up to 2 times per long rest.
