Base Class: Fighter
Shield and spear man
Trained Warrior
At 3rd level, you learn three different techniques. If two of your attacks hit in succession, you can use one of these techniques as a third attack.
Spear thrust: You thrust your spear, attempting to pin the target to the ground. On a hit, the target takes your spear damage and target rolls a strength saving throw. On a fail it is knocked prone. (DC is 8 + prof + strength mod)
Shield Bash: You slam your shield into the target. On a hit you deal 1d6 + strength modifier, target rolls a constitution saving throw or be stunned until the start of your next turn. (DC is 8 + prof + strength mod).
Stalwart Defense: You use your shield to automatically block one incoming attack. This does not apply to AOE spells or spells that do not use an attack roll. You can hold this as a reaction.
Unarmored Defense
At 3rd level, while not wearing armour, your AC is equal to Con + Dex modifiers.
No Armor, No Problems
At 7th level, while not wearing armor, you gain an additional 10 feet of movement.
Undying Resolve
At 10th level, when you are reduced to 0 hit points and not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can use this once per long rest.
Combat Mastery
At 15th level, you further your combat prowess and your techniques have additional bonuses.
Spear Thrust: When this attack hits, you grievously wound the target. Target has disadvantage on all attack rolls until the start of your next turn.
Shield Bash: When this attack hits, target is disarmed of their weapon. This has no effect on natural weapons (claws, tail, tentacles, etc.)
Stalwart Defense: You can use this attack to protect another creature from a single attack within 5 feet of you. You can hold this action as a reaction.
Blood Drunk
At 18th level, you are able to tap into a raging frenzy for 1 minute, you gain bonus damage equal to your strength modifier, you heal 5 + con mod every turn, and gain advantage on any target who is not full health. You can use this feature once per long rest. After the 1 minute is over or you choose to end the rage, you gain 2 points of exhaustion.
