Base Class: Cleric
Though distant, the Moon still carries great power; it gives rise to the tides, lights travelers' paths in the dead of night, and has been known to trigger transfiguration and metamorphosis. The Moon has represented a great number of things, and so the values of Moon gods vary. In general, though, such deities tend to represent love, renewal, and rebirth. Clerics of the Moon strive to bring about change where it is needed and light the way for those lost in the darkness. Drawing upon the power of the New Moon allows these clerics to go quietly by night, but harnessing the radiant light of the Full Moon allows them a powerful force. Moon clerics' deities' provenance over the tides also grants them an affinity for the water, and they can draw upon the power of the seas when necessary.
Bonus Cantrip
When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain the dancing lights cantrip. The color of the light emitted by this cantrip is always that of moonlight.
Disciple of the Moon
Starting at 1st level, your healing spells are more effective when cast in the eyes of your deity. If the moon is visible or you are lit by moonlight, any spell of 1st level or higher which restores hit points will restore additional hit points equal to 2 plus the spell's level. For the purposes of this feature, the radiant light generated by the moonbeam spell counts as moonlight. You are immune to damage caused by this spell if the spellcaster is you or a friendly creature. The aura created by the Corona of Moonlight feature also counts for the purposes of this feature.
Channel Divinity: Radiance of the Moon
Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to harness the light of the full moon, banishing darkness and dealing radiant damage to your foes.
As an action, you present your holy symbol, and any magical darkness within 30 feet of you is dispelled. Additionally, each hostile creature within 30 feet of you must make a Constitution saving throw. A creature takes radiant damage equal to 2d10 + your cleric level on a failed saving throw, and half as much damage on a successful one. A creature that has total cover from you is not affected.
Channel Divinity: New Moon's Darkness
Starting at 6th level, you can use your Channel Divinity to shroud yourself in the shadow of a moonless night. As an action, you become invisible until the end of your next turn. You become visible if you attack or cast a spell.
Metamorphosis
Starting at 8th level, you have become attuned to the moon's transformative cycles. Once per day, as a bonus action, you can cast the polymorph spell on yourself without expending a spell slot. You regain this ability at the end of a Long Rest.
Corona of Moonlight
Starting at 17th level, you can use your action to activate an aura of moonlight that lasts for 1 minute or until you dismiss it using another action. You emit bright light in a 60-foot radius and dim light 30 feet beyond that. Your enemies in the bright light have disadvantage on saving throws against any spell that deals ice or radiant damage.
