Base Class: Druid
From the beginning of life in Spring, to the apex of growth in Summer, then beginning to dwindle in Fall and finally conclude in Winter.
These druids often seek for the lords of the Court of Seasons guidance, as they dictate the natural order of climate change.
Members of this circle often wander the world searching to end stillness that undead or arcane power could offer, as time must flow with the seasons for the cycle to continue.
Virtuous Cycle
Beginning at 2nd level, whenever you perform a long rest, you may select one of the 4 Seasons. The Season you select gives you several boons that may empower your actions as follows:
Spring: Whenever you would heal an ally, you may also grant them temporary hit points equal to your druid level. You may once per short rest use your action to end a condition on a creature from the following list: Poisoned, Paralyzed, Stunned or remove Exhaustion equal to your proficiency bonus.
Summer:Once per round when you would deal radiant or fire damage, you may add your Wisdom modifier to one of the rolls. Additionally one per short rest when you would use a spell to deal radiant or fire damage, you may roll one of the damage dice once.
Autumn: Whenever you would damage or affect a creature with a spell, you may reduce their movement speed by 10ft until the end of their next turn. Additionally, once per short rest when a creature would fail a saving throw against a spell of yours with at least 1 minute duration, you may reduce their AC by 2 until the end of the spell.
Winter: Whenever a creature would take no damage on a save against a spell or cantrip that deals cold damage, they take half damage instead. Additionally, once per short rest, you may as an action target a group of creatures with the sleep spell without spending a spell slot.
Whenever you would use a spell slot to cast a spell as an action, you may use your bonus action to move the selected season forward one step, following the natural cycle.
Aspect of the Seasons
Starting at 2nd level, you may use one of your Wild Shapes to surround yourself with the might of the Seasons
Aspect of Spring: A cloak of flowers is summoned around you, you are under the effects of the sanctuary spell as long as you have not harmed/affected an enemy creature with a spell or an attack within the last minute. You may spend a spell slot as a bonus action to heal a number of allies up to your proficiency bonus for 1d8 hit points per slot level. This feature can be used a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
Aspect of Summer:A fiery cloak is summoned around you, whenever a creature would hit you or end their turn next to you, they must succeed on a dexterity saving throw against your spell DC or take 1d6 fire damage, adjacent creatures that grapple or restrain you automatically fail the roll. This damage increases as you level, 1d8 at 6th level and 2d6 at 10th level
Aspect of Autumn: A cloak of autumn leaves is summoned around you, all enemies that start their turn within 30ft of you have to make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell DC, on a failure they must choose to keep their bonus action or their reaction until the start of their next turn. Any plant or beast type creature you target with a saving throw has disadvantage on their save as long as they are within 30ft of yours.
Aspect of Winter: : An icy cloak is summoned around you. You can cast ice knife without spending a spell slot up to a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. Whenever you would deal cold damage, you may spend a spell slot to deal 1d6 additional cold damage per level of the spell slot used.
While on an aspect of the Seasons you may not change the selected Season you currently have.
These benefits last 10 minutes and you may end them as a bonus action during your turn.
Renewed breath
Starting at 6th level, whenever you would return to the Season you selected at the end of your long rest completing a full cycle, you and a selected number of allies equal to your proficiency bonus may regain all features that are restored by performing a short rest. This feature may be used once per long rest.
Guardian of the Court
At 10th level whenever you would be under the benefits of the Aspect of Seasons, you may choose to change the current aspect to the one of the following Season by using your bonus action.
Additionally, you become resistant to the following types of damage depending on the Aspect of Season you are currently on:
Spring - Poison/Acid
Summer- Fire
Autumn - Necrotic
Winter - Cold
Sage of the Seasons
Once you reach 14th level, you may change your selected Season without spending spell slots by using your bonus action.
Additionally you become immune to the type of damage the Guardian of the Court feature gives you, depending on your current active Aspect of the Seasons.
Level 3 Placeholder
Beyond requires a Level 3 Druid Feature (Druids, however, do not get a feature at Level 3.)
