The way of the flurry is an ancient technique that uses the tough, unrelenting power of the cold to strengthen one's body. Through consistent training in this technique, one not only becomes stronger as a combatant, but their ki will begin to adapt the freezing cold.
Cryotic Ki
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your ki gives you the ability to infuse your attacks with cold energy.
Whenever you use your fury of blows, you deal additional cold damage equal to your martial arts die on each strike.
When you make an attack on an enemy you can spend one ki point to add cold damage equal to your martial arts die to the damage.
Blizzard Fist
At 6th level, you learn to use the blizzard fist technique. You spend 3 ki points to blast a 10 ft. cone of cold from your fist, any creature in range must make a DC 13 (+dex modifier) dexterity saving throw, taking two martial arts die of cold damage and being pushed back 5 feet on a failed save, or half as much damage and not being pushed back on a successful save.
Guardian of Frost
At 11th level, you become unaffected and are healed by the cold. You become immune to cold damage. Whenever you take cold damage, you take no damage, and instaed regain a number of hitpoints equal to the damage.
Shivering Palm
At 17th level, you gain the ability to set up lethal shivers in someone’s body. When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can spend 3 ki points to start these shivers, which last for a number of days equal to your monk level. The shivers are harmless unless you use your action to end them. To do so, you and the target must be on the same plane of existence. When you use this action, the creature must make a Constitution saving throw. If it fails, it is reduced to 0 hit points. If it succeeds, it takes 10d10 cold damage.
You can have only one creature under the effect of this feature at a time. You can choose to end the vibrations harmlessly without using an action.
