Base Class: Druid
Druids of the Circle of Blood Sacrifice have harnessed the power of their blood. You can use your blood to enhance healing powers or increase damage from attacks.
Circle Spells
2hd-level Circle of Blood Sacrifice feature
Your ability to tap into the powers of blood grants you access to certain spells. At 2nd level, you learn the toll the dead cantrip.
At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to the spells listed for that level in the Circle of Blood Sacrifice Spells table. Once you gain access to one of these spells, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.
Circle of Spores Spells
| Druid Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 2nd | toll the dead |
| 3rd | false life, wither and bloom |
| 5th | vampiric touch, life transference |
| 7th | blight, shadow of moil |
| 9th | negative energy flood, enervation |
Bloody Energy
2nd-level Circle of Blood Sacrifice feature
You gain the ability to channel magic into your blood. As a bonus action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to awaken blood energy, rather than transforming into a beast form, and you gain 1 temporary hit point for each level you have in this class. While this feature is active, you gain the following benefits:
- On a successful attack, you may add 1 damage for every 1 temp HP you expend.
These benefits last for 10 minutes, until you lose all these temporary hit points, or until you use your Wild Shape again.
RULE TIP: TEMPORARY HIT POINTS DON'T STACK
If you have temporary hit points and receive more of them, you don’t add them together, unless a rule says you can. Instead, you decide which temporary hit points to keep. For more information on temporary hit points, see chapter 9 of the Player’s Handbook.
Bloody sacrifice
2nd-level Circle of Blood feature
As a reaction, if a friendly creature you can see within 30 feet of you takes damage, you may sacrifice your blood to take half the damage. Temporary hit points may not be used for this sacrifice and you may not do this if you are transformed through Wild Shape.
Bloody Damage
6th-level Circle of Blood Sacrifice feature
Whenever you take damage equal to or greater than half your maximum HP, you become surrounded by a swirling pool of blood. As a reaction, you can throw this blood at the target who hit you if they are within 30 ft of you. The target takes damage equal to what you took if it fails a CON saving throw (DC {{savedc:wis}}). On a successful save, it takes half that damage.
Bloody Life
10th-level Circle of Blood feature
When you roll a critical attack, as part of the attack action, you may expend a critical blood attack. You may add damage to the damage roll equal to twice your Druid level plus your wisdom modifier. This is not doubled with the roll. Your maximum HP is reduced by half this amount until you finish a short rest. If you are in Wild Shape, it is your max HP and not the Wild Shape that reduces.
Bloody Soul
14th-level Circle of Blood feature
Starting at the 14th level, your blood attempts to deliver you from death. Attacks that reduce your HP to less than 1, reduce it to 1 instead. This conditions last for one minute. At the end of this minute, if you have not been healed, all of the blood in your body expels in a 60 circle from your body, and you immediately die. You may not be resurrected from this.
