Base Class: Monk
A monk who follows the Way of the Scholar is able to harness a combination of ki and arcane power. They see ki and magic as interchangeable, so try to use both in order to maximize their martial prowess.
Ki Casting
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your ki to duplicate the effects of certain spells.
You can spend 2 ki points to cast Expeditious Retreat, Feather Fall, Jump, Longstrider, Blur, Misty Step or Spider Climb on only yourself and without providing verbal, somatic or material components. Additionally, you gain the Prestidigitation cantrip if you don't already know it.
Nerves of Steel
Starting at 6th level, you are able to cast spells even in situations others would consider dire. You have advantage on Constitution saving throws that you make to maintain your Concentration on a spell when you take damage.
Additionally, when a hostile creature attacks you, you can use your reaction to cast a spell on yourself. Casting a spell this way costs 1 additional ki point.
Enhanced Ki Casting
Starting at 11th level, you can spend 3 ki points to duplicate the effects of additional spells.
You can spend 3 ki points to cast Fly, Blink, Haste, Gaseous Form, or Water Walk on only yourself and without providing verbal, somatic or material components.
Parallel Ki Casting
At 17th level, your mind expands to allow to you focus on multiple spells simultaneously. You can now have two spells that require Concentration in effect at the same time.
Additionally, when you take damage and your Concentration fails, only one spell ends and you can choose which of the two spells ends. If you are Incapacitated or die, your Concentration fails for both spells.
