Base Class: Fighter
A warrior summoning the destructive force of the flame carves swathes of fiery destruction into the enemy forces. Upon a throne a man sits, his head is wreathed in fire, and the flames flicker betraying his inner emotions. They walk through the darkness as a beacon of light in the shadow, guiding their allies through it all.
Those who walk the path of the Lava Sweeper have embraced the fiery passion of battle, channeling it into their very being. Some use it as a light to lead, while others use it as an unstoppable destructive force. However, they all share the passion for battle.
Fiery Strikes
Starting at 3rd level, you use a bonus action to imbue your attacks with the heat of battle. All your attacks deal an additional 1d4 fire damage for 1 minute. You also gain resistance to fire damage during this duration. The 1d4 gets replaced by 1d6 at 9th level and 1d8 at 15th level. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier per long rest. Gaining any and all expended uses on a long rest.
Soul of Phlegethos
Starting at 7th level, when you are reduced to 0 hit points you can instead drop to 1 hit point. When you use this feature you generate a fiery explosion centered on you that has a radius of 15 feet. All creatures within the radius must make a dexterity saving throw vs 8 + your proficiency + your constitution modifier. On a failed save they take 4d8 fire damage and half as much on a successful one. You can only use this feature once per long rest.
Eyes Aflame
Starting at 10th level, the flame inside you emits light in a 30ft radius. You can suppress this light as a bonus action. While using fiery strikes the additional fire damage ignores resistances and treats immunity as a resistance.
Exalted Embers
Starting at 15th level, you are hot to the touch, and gain permanent immunity to fire damage. Your fiery strike feature lasts for 3 minutes instead of 1 minute.
Volcanic Upheaval
Beginning at 18th level, in combat you have become a walking fire, while fiery strikes is active you can cause the ground to erupt. This deals 8d8 fire damage to everyone within a 15ft cone on a dexterity save equal to 8 + proficiency bonus + constitution modifier. That area also becomes harsh terrain and everyone who walks in it has their speed reduced by half and they take 1d10 fire damage for every turn spent inside the area. This effect lasts for 3 rounds. If the weapon is non-magical it melts on the spot destroying it. This can only be used once per encounter.
