Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Dragons are naturally infused with the magical energy of the world. They don't often take kindly to the spreading of this gift, but those who earn a pact with a dragon gain the abilities of those who shaped the world - for a price of course.

Access to the Horde

Starting at 6th level, you can call on your patron to lend you a fraction of their horde. As an action, you can call upon the dragon you made a pact with to lend you power. This power manifests in the form of a magical item.

A rare or below magical item immediately appears on your person. The item is in your possession for 1 minute, after which it is returned to the dragon's horde. If the item requires attunement, you are immediately attuned to it. If you do not have a free attunement slot, you can only summon magical items which do not require attunement.

Alternatively, you can summon up to 500 gold. Gold summoned in this manner lasts for up to 1 hour, after which it is returned to the dragon's horde.

Once you use either of these features, you can’t use any of them again until you finish a long rest.

Additionally, you can also commence trades with your patron. As an action you can touch a magical item no creature is attuned to and transport it to the dragon's horde in exchange for gold.

Second-hand Refraction

Starting at 10th level, you can refract the energy gained from damage you take of your Draconic Patron's type while under the effects of your Draconic Metamorphosis. As a bonus action, you gain the following benefit based on your draconic patron:

Chromatic Patron. Until the start of your next turn, you can add 2d6 of your patron's damage type to any damage roll you make.

Metallic Patron. You can distribute temporary hit points equal to the damage you took amongst any number of creatures within 30 ft. of you.

Gem Patron. Until the start of your next turn, you gain the benefits of a Haste spell, and a flying speed of 20 ft.

Once you use this ability you can not do so again until you finish a long rest

Authority of the Horde

Starting at 14th level, your connection to your patron has given you greater access to their horde.

When you use Access to the Horde you can now summon items of very rare rarity or below. Furthermore, you ignore attunement requirements of items you summon.

Additionally, when you trade away an item you can choose to regain expended spell slots instead of gold, and if you summon an item you previously traded by yourself, you regain your use of Access to the Horde upon a short or long rest.
