Living Shadow

A living shadow is a being who exists, but leaves no trace of that existence in the wake of action. Silent, deadly, undetectable, many times it is a person of the living shadow who is employed to carry out assassinations and coups in various lands. They are highly proficient, dangerous, and have created a reputation to rival mythical figures of ancient lore.

Additional Proficiencies

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the disguise kit, forgery kit, and the poisoner’s kit.

Shadow Strike

At 3rd level, when you use your Sneak Attack feature, you may choose to change the sneak attack damage type to necrotic without taking any additional action.

Undetected Threat

At 9th level you have become a master of stealth and subterfuge. You have advantage on all Dexterity(Stealth) checks. In addition, if you hit with a weapon attack in combat while having been hidden immediately prior to that attack, you may add your Charisma modifier to the attack's damage.

One With The Shadows

At 13th level the darkness has become your ally. If you take the attack action while you are in darkness or dim light you can make a melee attack against any one creature within 120 feet who is also in darkness or dim light, provided you can see them, this does not use any of your movement for the turn. The darkness or dim light is considered your ally for the purposes of the Sneak Attack class feature. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Shadow Of Death

At 17th level you have reached new heights of lethality. When you successfully deal damage using the Sneak Attack class feature, roll an additional amount of d6 equal to your proficiency bonus and add the number rolled to the damage.
