Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Coppermind Mages have trained from a early age to be able to split their mind into separate entities. Effectively allowing them to multithread their mental processes.

This puts a great strain on their mind, and splitting their mind in such a way much be done with great care, unless they render themselves unable to recombine and live the rest of their lives as a shadow of their former selves.

They do this by sending a sliver of their minds to inhabit copper objects that carry on their person, while they were them they can combine their minds back into a whole, but should they loose them then part of their mind might be lost forever

Create Coppermind

At 2nd level, you have learned to create Coppermind objects over a long rest, Copperminds are traditionally made out of copper, but any metal can be used, the effect is the same.

When creating a Coppermind you can choose a Spell that required concentration that you know, That spell is now imbued into the Coppermind.

For each Coppermind you create this way, lower you max Int by 2, You can only have 3 Copperminds created at a time

A Coppermind has 3 states, Active, inactive and Exhusted

Each Coppermind can only be activated {{proficiency}} times per long rest, and once all charges have been used they become depleted

They Become Inactive again at the end of a long rest

While Inactive

  • +2 Int
  • You can cast the Imbued Spell using a Wizard Spell Slot Ignoring the Concentration Rules for this spell (This causes the Coppermind to become active)
  • + 1 To Concentration Saving throws

While Active

  • Cancel the Imbued Spell (This Causes The Coppermind to become inactive)
  • -1 Concentration Saving Throws

While Depleted

  • No Effects, and cannot be activated for any reason

Mental Fortress

Starting at 2nd Level, your mind has been split, manipulated and controlled to such a extent that your mental landscape is as alien to normal minds as a gods would be to you, as such spells, magical artifacts and poisons that have been designed to work on a mortal mind have no effect on yours, Your Intelligence and Wisdom cannot be modified in anyway by spells (Such as feeblemind), Magic Items (Such as  Circlet of Intellect) or Actions (Such as Devour Intellect)

We Are Legion

Starting at 6th level, Your Copperminds have started to grow and evolve, to the point where they are considered seperate Sentinent Entities.

As a reaction, when you are hit with a spell that effects your mind, you can redirect that effect into one of your inactive Copperminds, This turns the Coppermind Active for the duration of the spell, but you ignore the spells effect.

We Are Many

Your Copperminds are now entirely seperate from you, they obey you but have grown separate personalities and interests. Your copperminds can now be attuned to by People other then you for a period of up to 24 hours. (If this period is exceeded the coppermind reverts to its original non-magical form, and you regain the INT spend in crafting it). If the Coppermind spends more then 12 hours attuned to somebody, it gains a single proficiency that person had, and as an action you can activate the Coppermind to make a check with that skill as if you were profficent)

Flesh is Weak

At 14th level, You can move your mind into a Bronzemind, leaving the weakness of flesh behind

  • You No Longer need to breath, eat, sleep
  • You maintain control over your body, while your Bronzemind is in contact with your body
  • If Another creature touches your Bronzemind, you can attempt to take control over their body. They must pass a {{ 8 + proficency + modifier:int }} INT Saving throw with advantage, or your supress their mind and take control of them, they can reattempt this save every 24h, after a week of constant control they no-longer get profiency on the save, and after a month they auto fail.
  • You gain access to all their memories, and have advantage on deception or performance roles to pretend to be that person
