Base Class: Fighter

The moon has been a symbol of truth and cycles throughout history. A Moon Knight is a warrior that has trained to draw power and act in accordance to the moon's phases. Some celestials who call the moon their home grant power to those who act in accordance with the moon's cycles and light.

Lunar Phase

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you temper your body and blade with the grace of the moon's light.

Whenever you finish a long rest, you can choose what Lunar Phase you draw power through - Full Moon, New Moon, or Crescent Moon. While in the chosen phase, you can utilize the martial abilities listed below.

Crescent Moon

When you finish a long rest, or when you adopt this moon phase, you gain temporary hit points equal to your fighter level plus your Constitution modifier.

Full Moon

Your weapon attacks deal an additional 1d6 Radiant damage.

New Moon

You can take the Dash action as a bonus action.

Warrior of the Silver Light

Also at 3rd level, you learn the Moonbeam spell, using Constitution as your spellcasting ability. You can cast this spell once as a 2nd level spell - once you cast this spell, you cannot cast it again until you finish a short or long rest.

When you drop to 0 hit points, the moon rakes vengeance on the creature that felled you. You can cast the Moonbeam spell, centered on the creature that caused you to drop to 0 hit points. The spell's level for this casting is equal to half your fighter level (rounding down, minimum of 2nd level), and does not require concentration. Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.

Moon Lore

Finally at 3rd level, you learn some of the secrets of the moon.

You learn Celestial, and gain proficiency in the Nature skill

Waning Moon

At 7th level, as day turns to night and the moon shifts, so can you shift your Lunar Phase.

When you use your Second Wind feature, you can choose to shift your Lunar Phase.

You cannot be Charmed or Frightened.

New Solstice

As a bonus action, you can turn Invisible, as if you had cast Invisibility on yourself.

At 15th level, the blessings of the moon's light lifts your soul and grants you boons while bathed in such light.

While in bright light, you have a flying speed of 60 ft.

At 18th level, as a high-ranking and powerful Moon Knight, you have the privilege of calling down an emissary of the moon to aid you.

You can cast the Planar Ally spell - the creature you summon is always a Celestial that is allied with you, and acts as a friendly creature to you and your companions. Once you cast this spell, you cannot cast it again until you finish 1d4 long rests.
