Base Class: Barbarian
Barbarians who don’t have a special resource to fuel their rage they let their bloodthirst, where their violent tendencies make their attacks more potent. Where Berserkers focus more on attacking multiple times, Bloodlust Barbarians specialize on dealing more damage with each strike.
Bloodlust
When you choose this subclass at 3rd level you can strike at your opponents with more deadly hits. While raging, when you hit with a melee weapon using Strength you can add your rage damage one additional time to the total damage.
When you reach 5th level, the damage you deal is considered magical in order to bypass damage resistances of creatures.
Reckless Swing
When you reach 6th level your thirst for blood makes you see red, swinging more recklessly than before. While using your Reckless Attack feature, you can forgo the advantage and roll normally in order to deal an additional 10 damage with a melee weapon attack using Strength. Doing so still imposes advantage on hits against you as stated on the Reckless Attack feature. You can use this feature an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Bloodthurst Anger
When you reach 10th level your anger makes you attack with such ferocity that you are pushing yourself beyond normal. While raging, when you hit with a melee weapon attack using Strength you can roll a number hit dice (you can roll a maximum number of hit dice equal to your proficiency bonus), taking necrotic damage equal to the amount rolled, and add an additional d12 to the damage roll for each hit dice rolled. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier and you regain all extended uses when you finish a long rest.
Skull Cleaver
When you reach 14th level, you can decapitate your foes if you damage them enough. While raging, when you hit with a melee weapon attack using Strength and you deal more than 30 points of damage, if the creature you damaged is up to two size categories larger than you (for example if you are a Medium size creature you can decapitate Large and Huge creatures) it makes a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier), losing their head on a failed save and taking an additional 5d12 damage on a successful one. If the creature can’t survive without its head, it's dead. If a creature has multiple heads you choose which one you cut. You can use this feature an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
