Exhume

After studying the dead for longer than you can recall, you have learned how to extract the essence from creatures passing from life to death. When you reach level 3 in this class, dealing the killing blow to creature you are in combat with grants you 2 Soul Slivers, up to a maximum of 5. As a bonus action on your turn, you may also exhume an enemy or allied corpse to gain 1 Soul Sliver. The maximum amount of Soul Slivers you can have at a time increases as you gain levels with this class.

Soul Slivers

Upon reaching level 3 with this class, as a bonus action on your turn, you can perform one of the following skills:

Expending 1 Soul Sliver, you grant 1d4 + your CON modifier temporary hit points to an ally within 30 feet.

Expending 1 Soul Sliver, you remove a status effect, excluding unconscious, from an ally within 30 feet.

Expending 2 Soul Slivers, you grant an ally within 30 feet advantage on the next saving throw they make.

Reaper's Cleave

Starting at 7th level, as an action, you can expend 3 Soul Slivers to reap the souls of all enemies within a 15 foot cone in front of you. All enemies within range make a DEX saving throw with a DC equal to 12 + your CON modifier. On a failed save, enemies take normal damage from your weapon + 2d6 necrotic damage. On a successful save, enemies take half total damage. You gain 1 Soul Sliver per enemy hit.

Death and Taxes

At 10th level, your maximum number of Soul Slivers is now 8. This maximum increases to 12 Soul Slivers at level 17.

Cry of the Lich

At 15th level, as a bonus action on your turn, expend 5 Soul Slivers to let out a bloodcurdling shriek that conveniently inspires your allies. All friendly units within a 30 foot sphere centered on you gain advantage on the next attack roll they make. Each successful attack made using the advantage granted by Cry of the Lich grants you 1 Soul Sliver as well as dealing an additional 2d4 necrotic damage per attack. Additionally, until your next turn, all affected allies are immune to being frightened, paralyzed and charmed.

Revenge Incarnate

Starting at 18th level, as an action, you can expend 8 Soul Slivers to instantly stabilize a creature within 30 feet. The creature regains hit points equal to your Fighter level and gains advantage on all attack rolls against the creature that killed it until that creature is dead. If the creature that dealt the killing blow is dead at the casting of Revenge Incarnate, the targeted creature is instead shocked to consciousness, releasing 3d8 necrotic damage in a 10 foot sphere centered on itself. All creatures within range must succeed on a DC 15 DEX saving throw. On a successful save, they instead take half damage.
