Base Class: Paladin
As an Anti-Mage Paladin, it is your duty to preserve magic wielded by the good-willed and to eradicate the magic wielded by the evil-minded. You are trained to block and absorb magic used against you and use it to destroy your enemies.
Tenets of the Anti-Mage:
Extinguish the Dark; Magic is supposed to protect, support and heal. You must contain or destroy anyone or anything that would use it for evil.
Preserve the Light; Magic provides a strong structure of society and the good magic, as well as those who wield it, must be protected.
Channel Divinity
Silencing Smite:
When using your Divine Smite feature, you may choose to make it a nullifying attack. On a hit, in addition to the normal Divine Smite effects, the target must make a Wisdom saving throw: on success, the target cannot cast spells for two rounds. On a fail, the target cannot cast spells for 10 minutes. It may make a Wisdom saving throw on each of it's turns to attempt to dispel the effect.
Abjure the Caster:
You can use your Channel Divinity to castigate magic casters. As an action, you present your holy symbol and a circle of light extends 10ft around you for 1 minute; each creature with the spellcasting ability that enters the circle must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is turned for the spell's duration. A turned creature must spend it's turns moving as far away from you as possible. For it's action, it may only use dash or dodge.
Aura of Warding
Beginning at 7th level, Anti-Magic lies so heavily upon you that it forms an Anti-Magic ward. You and friendly creatures within 10ft of you have resistance to damage from spells.
At 18th level, the range of this aura extends to 30ft.
Magical Resistance
At 15th level, you gain resistance to bludgeoning, slashing and piercing damage from magical attacks.
Aspect of the Anti-Mage
At 20th level, you can assume the Aspect of the Anti-Mage. Using your action, you manifest two spectral blades that deal 1d8 slashing and 1d6 radiant damage and gain the following benefits for up to one hour:
> You are under the effects of the Haste spell for the duration.
> Your spectral blades are always under the Silencing Smite feature.
> If you were wielding a shield, it dissipates around you and places you under the effects of Shield of Faith for the duration. It re-manifests in your hand after this feature is deactivated.
After you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest and you gain one point of exhaustion.
