Base Class: Barbarian
Barbarians are what some would call them, but those that follow the Path of the Open Road see themselves as agents of freedom and self-worth. These warriors of the interstate pride themselves on their vehicles, speed, and strength, and value their own desires above all others. A good time and open air are pivotal, even if a fight is needed to get what they want.
Bonus Proficiency
When you choose this path at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in one of the following skills of your choice: Deception, Performance, Persuasion, Slight of Hand, or with Tinker's Tools

Speed Machine
At level 3, when you enter a rage, your movement speed increases by 10ft.
Eldritch Engine
At level 3, you become one with your vehicle. You may spend at least 8 hrs attuning to your favorite vehicle, forging a piece of your soul into the machinery and turning it into an Eldritch Engine. It takes another 8 hours to move that piece of your soul to a new machine.
After attuning, the bike becomes more powerful, but requires an amount of concentration to keep it stable. While out of combat, you should have no issue maintaing this concentration. However, in combat, you must stay mounted to maintain this focus. If you end a round dismounted and do not mount again by the end of your next turn, the vehicle fades to the ether. If you damaged while dismounted, you must roll a concentration check (DC 10 or half the damage you take, whichever is higher) to hold the vehicle on this plane. If the vehicle is destroyed in an attack, it fades to the ether. You may spend your action reconstituting the vehicle, but you can only recreate it an amount of times equal to your proficiency score per long rest.
The Eldritch Engine has the following stat block, and may count as a creature for any attacks.
Road Rager
Road Rager
At level 6, you show your skill as a rider. You gain the Mounted Combatant feat.
In Addition, if you successfully land an attack while mounted and raging, you may use your reaction to move up to 10ft towards any creature you can see and make a melee weapon attack. Moving this way does not provoke an attack of opportunity.
Finally, mounting and dismounting takes only 5ft of your movement speed rather than half.
Spiked Leathers
At level 10, you’ve adapted to balancing reckless combat and the natural conditions of the open road. As if you're wearing studded leather, your natural AC becomes 12 when under the effects of Unarmored Defense. In addition, any melee weapon attack that successfully lands on you causes the attacker to receive 1d4 or of piercing damage, or 2d4 at level 15.
Mean Machine
At level 14, your Eldritch Engine becomes more powerful as the strength of your free spirit grows, granting it new features. For these abilities, the DC is 8 + Your Str + Proficiency. The bike can hold one of these new traits, and you can change them at the end of a long rest
Highbeams
Your Eldritch Engine is equipped with a powerful headlight! So long as your vehicle is summoned, you shine bright light in a 60ft cone and dim light in a 120ft cone. Any creature that looks at you while in the bright light of this cone must succeed on a CON saving throw or be blinded. While mounted, you may use your action cast a hot beam of light 100ft forward. Any creature in the line must succeed on a Dex saving throw or take 10d6 of Fire damage. Any creature that fails takes half. This feature can only be used once until the bike is resummoned. You may turn the beam off as a free action, or turn it back on as a bonus action.
Overdrive
Power is channeled to the core of the Eldritch Engine, granting an addition 10ft of movement to the vehicle. You may use your action to dismount your Eldritch Engine and complete its movement in a straight line. When the movement stops, or if it collides with an object or creature sooner, the machine is destroyed in an explosion. Creatures within a 20ft radius must make a DEX saving throw. Any creature that fails takes 2d6 piercing damage from shrapnel. Any creature within a 10ft radius takes an additional 8d6 of force damage from the explosion. Any creature that succeeds takes half damage from the explosion and no damage from the shrapnel.
Roadripper
Attacks from the Eldritch Engine provoke a STR saving throw, on a fail, the creature is knocked prone. If an attack from the Eldritch Engine hits a prone or incapacitated target, the attack is automatically a critical hit and becomes piercing damage. You may only critically hit this way once until the bike is resummoned.
Rocket-boosted
With new, magical propulsion units, the Eldritch Engine can fly up to its movement speed.
