Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians following the Path of the Ancient Wyvern are inspired by the power and fury of the mighty dragons. Through both physical transformation and mental fortitude, these barbarians embody the most fearsome creatures found in story books.

You might have been raised to follow this path by the culture of your dragon worshipping tribe, born with a natural fury due to blood ties to an ancient beast, or perhaps you met an ancient dragon and, through strength and fortitude, convinced them to bestow upon you gifts of might. Whatever the origin of your abilities may be, one thing is certain. You are the most terrifying monster on any battlefield.

Dragon Scales

Starting at 3rd level, your skin hardens like the scales of dragons. When you are benefitting from your unarmored defense feature, you can also add your proficiency bonus to your armor class.

Breath of Rage

At 6th level, you can release your draconic energy while raging in one of two ways.

Damaging Breath   Once per round, when you take the Attack action on your turn, you can replace one of your attacks with an exhalation of draconic energy in a 20 ft. cone. The damage type is the type associated with your draconic soul feature. Each creature in that area must make a DEX saving throw (DC = 8 + your constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus), taking 2d6 damage on a fail, or half as much on a success. This damage increases to 3d6 at 10th level, and 4d6 at 14th level.

Enthralling Roar   Once per round, when you take the Attack action on your turn, you can replace one of your attacks with a draconic scream. All creatures of your choice within 20 feet of you of your choice has disadvantage on attack rolls against targets other than you until the end of your next turn.

Wings of the Dragon

Once you reach 10th level, you grow scaly wings reminiscent of a wyvern. Thanks to your wings, you have a flying speed equal to your walking speed. You can’t use this flying speed if you’re wearing armor.

Legendary Resistance

Beginning at 14th level, the draconic power that fuels your rage allows you to steel yourself against even the most powerful attacks.

Once per long rest while you're raging, when you fail a saving throw, you can choose to succeed instead. In addition, while raging, you now have immunity to the damage type associated with your draconic resistance.
