Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Danger is part of the line of work for your average rogue. Most don't flinch at a spell's firey blasts or the wayward breath of a dragon. Some make easy work of traps, and others make night life difficult. A select few, however, enjoy the thrill of being endangered. These rogues become adrenaline junkies.

Adrenaline Rush

Starting when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you are able to gain a number of Adrenaline Points equal to your proficiency bonus. You gain one one Adrenaline Point whenever you take damage, succeed a Dexterity(Acrobatics) or Strength(Athletics) check, take the Help action in combat, or score a critical hit.

You gain a 5 foot bonus to your movement speed for every Adrenaline Point that you have. All Adrenaline Points are reduced to zero if you are out of combat for 1 minute or if you do not gain any Adrenaline points for one minute.

Down with the Swiftness

Also at 3rd level, you can expend one Adrenaline Point to give yourself advantage on an Opportunity Attack roll, Dexterity (Acrobatics) check, or Dexterity Saving throw.

Reactive Reflexes

Starting at 9th level, you can expend an Adrenaline Point to take an additional reaction if you have already used your reaction. This reaction cannot be used to cast a spell. Additionally, creatures now provoke Opportunity Attacks from you when they enter your Reach.

Death-Defying

At 13th level, your adrenaline pushes you beyond your normal limits. Having 0 hit points no longer knocks you unconscious. You still must make death saving throws, and you suffer the normal effects of taking damage while at 0 hit points.

When you are reduced to 0 hit points, you gain your maximum amount of Adrenaline Points.

Hyperactive

At 17th level, your drive for danger is unparalleled. When you roll for initiative, you gain 1d6 Adrenaline Points. You can expend 6 Adrenaline Points as a Bonus Action to gain the benefits of a short rest, but you cannot gain any Adrenaline Points for the next ten minutes. You can expend your Adrenaline Points like this once, and you can do so again when you finish a long rest.
