A discoverer of new dimensions, a traveller of the different planes, and a specialist in creating portals for when the situation calls for it. A Dimensioneer seeks to use tools used for teleportation to vanish for one moment and reappear in the next to get the drop on their enemies. Often summoning creatures from other planes of existence to aid them in battle, a Dimensioneers is a very unpredictable and dangerous force to be reckoned with.

Tool Proficiency

You gain proficiency with jeweler's tools. If you already have this proficiency, you gain proficiency with one other type of artisan’s tools of your choice.

Dimensioneer Spells

You always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Dimensioneer Spells table. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but they don’t count against the number of artificer spells you prepare.

Eldritch Blast Adept

Your talent with interdimensional tools allows you to warp creatures to different spaces within ease. When you cast the eldritch blast cantrip, you can choose to teleport any creature you hit with a beam to an unoccupied space of your choice that you can see within 10 feet of the target. The chosen space must be on a surface or in a liquid that can support the target without the target having to squeeze.

You can use this feature only once per turn.

Eldritch Blast Expert

You have mastered using your tools to create otherworldy blasts that can give aid or more pain. When you cast eldritch blast using jeweler's tools, add your Intelligence modifier to the damage it deals on a hit.

Also when you cast eldritch blast, you can forgo casting one of the beams at a creature and instead target a willing creature (including yourself). This creature can then teleport to an unoccupied space of your choice that you can see within 10 feet of the taget. The chosen space must be on a surface or in a liquid that can support the target without the target having to squeeze. The creature does not take any damage from this teleportation.

Conjuration Specialist

At 9th level, you have better capabilities in casting conjuration spells. At the end of a long rest, you temporarily learn one spell of your choice from any class. The spell can be of any level up to 5th and it must be in the school of conjuration. The spell counts as an artificer spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of artificer spells you prepare.

You can cast the spell once without expending a spell slot. Once you cast the spell in this way, you can’t cast that spell in this way again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast these spells using spell slots you have of the appropriate level. If the spell has a concentration duration, you can ignore the concentration requirement, but the spell duration cannot exceed 1 hour. You also cannot have more than one instance of the spell at all times.

You have this spell prepared until the next time you finish a long rest.

Portal Master

At 15th level, your expertise in travelling between the different planes of existence allows you to teleport with more ease. You gain the following benefits:

  • You can cast teleportation circle as an action using only jeweler's tools and without expending a spell slot a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
  • You can cast plane shift using jeweler's tools once per long rest.
  • When you take damage from an attack, you can use your reaction to quickly shift in and out of a different plane, giving yourself resistance to all of that attack’s damage.
