Base Class: Bard
As bardic colleges go, the College of the Fool is one of the least cohesive, but it's members are often some of the most famous and well-remembered. Instead of boring themselves with studying ancient lore or rehearsing the same dismal tale of heroism over and over again, bards of the College of Fools simply wish to make as many friends as possible, wherever they go, and share with them their humor and good spirits. They strive to always bring laughter and light into the world. Two or more occasionally meet up to share jokes or hilarious pranks, but mostly they spend their time adventuring with their friends. A Fool cracks wise even amidst the heat of combat, inspires their friends with humor and optimism, and is always a reliable source of inspiration.
Merry Making
Starting at 3rd level, whenever you are forced to make a Dexterity saving throw, you can choose to make a Charisma (Performance) check instead.
The Best Medicine
Starting at 3rd level, allies that gain a bardic inspiration die from you can now spend the bardic inspiration die as a bonus action to grant themselves Temporary Hit points equal to what they roll on the Bardic Inspiration die + your Charisma modifier (to a minimum of 1).
Comedy Gold
Starting at 6th level, whenever an enemy rolls a natural 1 on an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you regain one use of your bardic inspiration.
Timing is Everything
Even if a joke isn't good, it can be funnier if told at the right time. Starting when your reach 14th level, an ally that has a bardic inspiration die can roll the die twice and take the higher of the two rolls.

Posted Sep 14, 2022I love this class so much and I've also been scrolling through all your work. Your Circle of Witchcraft Druid is iconic. Big fan. I really really wanna play this class but is it maybe a little underpowered? I wonder if you'd consider revisiting it and buffing it up a bit. I also know so little about balancing homebrew so if you're confident that it's balanced, I trust you and I will absolutely just play it as is haha.
