Base Class: Rogue
You are a rogue that has been cursed by shadows, and have become one with them. You are able to harness their powers and properties for but a moment, cloaking you in darkness and allowing you to be deadlier than ever.
Silent Shadow
At 3rd level, you can use the Silent Shadow feature to return to the shadows and the unseen. You can choose to expend an action to use this feature to cloak yourself in dark shadow, and teleport anywhere within your walking distance. The location you teleport to must be behind cover, in darkness or a location unseen by a hostile creature (at DM's discretion).
If an enemy's passive perception is lower than the value of Half of your Dexterity score rounded-up + Half of your Stealth modifier rounded-up, you are immediately considered hidden. Otherwise, you will need to expend half of your movement distance on your next turn to be fully hidden.
You are only able to use this feature two times before requiring a Long Rest to recover all of this feature's uses. The number of uses increases by one at 9th, 13th and 17th level.
Shadow Arts
At 9th level, you are able to use Silent Shadow to perform new actions or gain additional benefits. Select two Shadow's Soul Arts to learn.
The following choices can be picked at any level.
Shadow Bind
On a successful sneak attack, you can choose to expend a use of Silent Shadow to force the targeted creature to succeed a Strength saving throw or be restrained until the end of its next turn. The DC for the saving throw is equal to 8 + Your Proficiency Modifier + Your Dexterity Modifier.
Shadow Blind
You can expend a use of Silent Shadow and use a reaction to cover the face of a creature that you can see within 30 ft. of you. The creature must succeed a Wisdom saving throw or be blinded until the end of its next turn. The DC of the saving throw equals to 8 + Your Proficiency Bonus + Your Dexterity Modifier.
Shadow Coat
Whenever you use a reaction to perform an Uncanny Dodge, you are able to expend a use of Silent Shadow to coat yourself in a thick layer of shadow. Until the end of your next turn, all attacks against you will be at disadvantage. This Shadow Art is unaffected by darkvision and nonmagical light, and only works on you.
Shadow Dash
In combat, you can double the maximum distance of Silent Shadow, and triple the distance of it outside of combat.
Shadow Fear
On a successful sneak attack, you can choose to expend a use of Silent Shadow to force the target of the sneak attack to make a Charisma saving throw or be frightened of you until the end of their next turn. The DC for the saving throw equals to 8 + Your Proficiency Modifier + Your Dexterity Modifier.
Shadow Reach
When you miss an attack, you can choose to expend a Silent Shadow use to turn the miss into a hit. However, damage rolled will be halved, rounded up.
Shadow Spite
At 13th level, you can expend a charge of Silent Shadow on a critical hit against a creature. If you choose to do so, the creature must succeed a Constitution saving throw at the end of their next turn or suffer half of the damage they suffered on the previous critical hit (rounded-up). The damage dealt will be psychic damage.
The DC for the saving throw will be equal to 8 + Your Proficiency Modifier + Your Dexterity Modifier.
Silent Shadow Upgrade
At 17th level, you now recover two uses of Silent Shadow on a short rest. Additionally, if you begin a combat encounter without any uses of Silent Shadow, you immediately regain one use of Silent Shadow after rolling intiative.
